（一）初读课文,
理解课文大意。
1.教师出示下面的练习：

3.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM,

（二）学习新知识。
1.教学单词toilet和句子Please
help
me
clean
the
toilet.
（1）教师说：“Sally
and
her
mother
will
clean
the
toilet.Please
find
the
sentences
in
the
dialogue.”
导出单词toilet的教学,
并与WC进行对比。教师出示图片让学生感知toilet,
告诉学生toilet意为厕所、盥洗室,
是较为正式文雅的称呼。WC意为公共厕所,
是非常口语的一种说法。
（2）教师出示一些图,
请学生看图说话,
如：

（3）教学单词bedroom,
告诉学生,
这也是复合词,
由bed（床）和room（房间）合并构成的。教师出示clean

（1）教师指着前面练习上的图问：“What

do ”在“给植物浇水”图下出示词组water
the
plants。
（2）出示单词卡片water,
教学water和water
the
plants。告诉学生water作为名词表示“水”,
作为动词表示“浇水”。如：

trees(浇树）
（3）请学生看课本第38页的第二段,
读一读母亲与Ben的对话。告诉学生a
piece

cake是英语口语,
意思是“很容易的事”。

（三）熟读课文,
分角色表演对话。
1.请学生翻开课本第38页,
教师播放课文录音或者CD-ROM二至三遍,
学生模仿跟读。
2.教师再播放录音,
请学生分角色跟读。
3.教师将对话中四个人物的头像分给四位学生,
请他们表演对话。
4.情感教育。教师说：“我们在日常生活中要学会做力所能及的家务事,
为家长分担日常繁杂的事务。”
（四）巩固练习。

questionnaire.部分。
（1）请学生读一读这6个句子。
（2）学生独立完成练习。
（3）与同桌同学说一说自己会做的家务。
2.出示一周做家务计划表,
告诉学生：在家里自己的事情要自己做,
同时应尽量帮助父母做些力所能及的家务事。给学生一个表格,
请学生制订计划填表格。完成后,
请个别学生谈谈自己的计划,
其余同学给予评价。
