One day, I saw a little bird on the ground. It could not fly. It looked scared.
I did not touch the bird right away. I watched it carefully.
I asked my mom for help. She gave me a small box. We put the bird inside gently.
We gave it some water and seeds.
The next day, the bird was stronger. I took it outside and opened the box. It flew up into a tree!
I felt very happy. Helping animals is important. We should always be kind to them.

One afternoon, I saw a small squirrel by a tree. It was not moving. I went closer and looked carefully. Its leg looked hurt.
I did not pick it up because I was scared I might hurt it more. I ran home and told my dad. He came with me and brought a small towel. We put the squirrel gently in a box. My dad called a vet. The vet said we did the right thing.
After two days, the squirrel's leg was better. We took it back to the park. It ran up a tree quickly!
I was very happy that day. We can all help animals, big or small.
