Teenagers have many dreams. Some dreams are big, such as becoming famous scientists; some are small, like passing a difficult exam. Whatever the dreams are, they are very important to the teenagers. However, how can teenagers 1______ their dreams come true
First, teenagers should be allowed to choose their own dreams. Parents and teachers shouldn’t force them to do things they don’t like. It’s their dreams, not 2______. When teenagers are interested in something, they will put more effort into it.

十、阅读理解(判断对错,对的写T,错的写F)(10分)
Passage 1
Should teenagers be allowed to have part-time jobs Different people have different opinions.
Some people think teenagers should be allowed to have part-time jobs. They believe that part-time jobs can help teenagers learn to be independent and responsible. Teenagers can also earn some money to buy things they need. In addition, part-time jobs can help teenagers understand the value of money and learn how to communicate with others.
However, other people disagree. They think part-time jobs may get in the way of teenagers’ studies. Teenagers are still in school and their main task is to study. If they spend too much time on part-time jobs, they may not have enough time to do homework or review lessons. What’s more, some part-time jobs may be dangerous for teenagers, such as working in factories or restaurants late at night.
In my opinion, teenagers should be allowed to have part-time jobs, but with some restrictions. They should choose safe and appropriate jobs, such as tutoring younger students or working in bookstores. Also, they shouldn’t work more than 2 hours a day on school days and 8 hours on weekends. In this way, part-time jobs can benefit teenagers without affecting their studies.
( ) 1. Some people think part-time jobs can help teenagers learn to be independent.
( ) 2. All people agree that teenagers should be allowed to have part-time jobs.
( ) 3. Part-time jobs will definitely get in the way of teenagers’ studies.
( ) 4. Teenagers should choose safe part-time jobs according to the passage.
( ) 5. The writer thinks teenagers can work 10 hours on weekends.
Passage 2
A survey was conducted among 500 teenagers about their dreams and how to achieve them. Here are the results.
80% of the teenagers have clear dreams. Among them, 30% want to be professionals, such as doctors, lawyers or teachers; 25% want to be artists, like singers, dancers or painters; 20% want to start their own businesses; and 15% have other dreams, such as traveling around the world.
When asked about how to achieve their dreams, 60% of the teenagers said they would study hard. 25% said they would practice their skills every day. 10% said they would ask for help from their parents and teachers. Only 5% said they didn’t know what to do.
The survey also found that teenagers who have support from their parents are more likely to stick to their dreams. 75% of such teenagers said they would never give up their dreams, while only 40% of teenagers without parental support said so.
In addition, most teenagers believe that being responsible and hard-working are the most important qualities for achieving dreams. They also think that good communication skills and teamwork spirit are helpful.
( ) 6. 80% of the teenagers in the survey have clear dreams.
( ) 7. Half of the teenagers want to be professionals.
( ) 8. Most teenagers think studying hard is the way to achieve their dreams.
( ) 9. Teenagers with parental support are more likely to stick to their dreams.
( )10. Teenagers think only hard work is needed to achieve dreams.
