第一课时
一、课时内容
1.Listen and chant.& 2.Listen, read and act out.
二、课时分析
本课时是第五模块第一单元的第1课时。本课时首先通过Activity 1同学们数手指上笑脸数的对话来引入基数词的学习,然后通过Activity 2 埃米和萨姆数蜡笔的对话引出对crayon、begin、floor、nineteen等单词和句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”的学习。面对五年级的学生,虽然有一定的英语基础,可是在自由表达方面存在困难,教学设计中我引导学生观察构词规律,利用生动形象的动画,声音调动学生学习的积极性。有效将评价及时运用到课堂中,增加学生学习的积极性。在本课的教学设计中,我把学生做为课堂的主体,真正的将课堂还给学生。通过课前唱英文歌曲《ten little Indians》唤起学生对数字1到10的回忆,活跃课堂气氛,增强学生的求知欲;接着由chant使学生感知10到20之间数字认识的空缺,再通过Ms Smart 让Sam分发蜡笔的过程呈现将要学习的内容。在此过程中,穿插数数和抢答游戏,决定获胜者,巩固从1到20的英语单词的读音。
本课时包括Listen and chant.和Listen, read and act out.两个板块。Listen and chant.呈现了本单元所学的重点和重要句型,由“How many”导入到“数词的表达和应用”等。Listen, read and act out.板块为大家讲述了我们的英语课堂上大家分发蜡笔的活动内容。该部分涉及到数词的表达和there be句型的运用,通过该活动的学习让学生学习到同学之间要互相友爱互相帮助,与人分享和互相谦让等品质,这样既可以丰富我们的教学内容,又可以增添教学的乐趣。本模块主要学习“There be...”句型及基数词。本模块要求学生灵活使用句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”描述某物的数量,并鼓励学生积极联系实际生活,关注生活,能和同学互相谈论某物的数量。
三、学习内容:
重点:1. 听懂、会说并初步运用关于数字的词汇fifteen, nineteen, thirteen, fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, crayon, begin等。
2. 听懂、会说句型“There is/are…”, 并在实际情境中灵活运用;谈论数量。
难点:
1.能够听懂、会说并初步运用关于数字的词汇fifteen, nineteen, thirteen, fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, crayon, begin等
2.运用句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”描述物品的数量。

Step 1:Warm up
师生用日常英语进行对话。
T:Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss:Good morning, Mrs. Zhang.
T:OK.Today, we have four groups. Let’s have a match.
First, let’s sing a song about numbers.(用课件呈现歌曲视频)
Ss:Count, count, count with me. One, two, three, four, five, ...
T:Very good! Now let’s review some numbers. Let’s read out the numbers.(用课件呈现数字,复习数字)
Ss:One, six,eight.
【设计意图】在课前热身时间,通过问答练习让学生对以前学过的数字进行复习,同时使用句型“How many...?”自然引入本课时Activity 1部分的学习,过渡自然。

教材意图
此活动为两则短对话,通过已学过的句型“How many...can you see?”来询问某物的数量,引出新单词fifteen和twenty的学习。
教学建议
(1)教师利用课件呈现教材第26页 Activity 1的图片,然后询问学生:What can you see in the pictures How many faces can you see
(2)教师引导学生观察图片,让学生初步感知情景。
(3)教师引入新单词fifteen、twenty的学习。示例如下:
T:Look at the picture. There are many faces on the fingers.
How many faces can you see Let’s listen. And maybe you can tell us the key number.
T:You please.
S1:Fifteen.
T:Yes,fifteen faces we can see.Fifteen! Please follow me.Fifteen! Fifteen! Fifteen!
Ss:Fifteen! Fifteen! Fifteen!
T:Very good.Now please look at the picture.How many faces can you see Count them one by one.数一数。(指着右边的情景图)

(4)教师讲解对话内容,并带领学生朗读对话。
2.Activity 2
教材意图
本活动通过萨姆和埃米在课堂上数蜡笔的对话学习四会单词crayon、begin、floor,数词nineteen、fifteen、thirteen、fourteen、sixteen、seventeen、eighteen,短语give out、all right及句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”。
教学建议
(1)教师引导学生看图片,观察物品,引出新单词crayon.并教授新单词朗读,认识其复数形式。
(2)教师引导学生看图回答问题:How many crayons are there 在复习数字1-10的同时,引出新授的英文数字11-20.
(3)教师教授新授数字单词朗读,引导学生观察并总结数字13-19的形式变化规律。

(6)教师带领学生一起阅读、理解课文,并在课文中遇到新词(begin, give out, all right, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen)的地方,板书并教读,可以给出相应的单词卡片辅助学生记忆。
(7)教师用“How many...?”提问,引导学生根据课文内容用“There are...”句型回答。
T:Look at the picture.How many crayons are there on the teacher’s desk?(指着教材第27页顶部的情景图)
Ss:There are only nineteen crayons!
教师板书句型“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”并讲解。
(8)教师引导学生思考,What’s the matter with Sam There are only nineteen crayons! But there are twenty children in the class. The crayons are not enough.
思考Where is the missing crayon 引导学生观察图片,并思考引导回答。It’s on the floor.
(9)There be 句型总结。
Step 3:Practise
1.There be 句型填空练习。
【设计意图】反复让学生加深There be 句型,以达理解和运用。
(9)教师邀请学生分角色进行对话表演。
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
1.复习单词
教师任意出示一张本课的单词或短语卡片,要求学生快速地读出单词或短语。
2.复习句型
教师要求学生回家观察家里的物品,并用“There be+基数词+名词(+其他)”造五个句子。
Step 5 Homework
1.跟读三遍课文。
2.用There are/is...写句子。
