“难道我们永远不能拥有自己的颜色吗？”他问。He told his sad story.“I'm afraid not,” said the other chameleon,“恐怕你说的没错！”那只更聪明的年长变色龙说。“不过，”他又说，“为什么我们不呆在一起呢？”who was older and wiser.“But ,” he added, “why don’t we stay together?“虽然我们还是走到哪儿，颜色就变到哪儿。 但是我们的颜色永远是一样的。”“We will change colour wherever we go, but you and I will always be alike.”于是，他们肩并肩站到一起。And so they remained side by side.他们都变成了绿色。They were green together.都成了紫色and purple都成了黄色and yellow12And red with white polka dots. They live happily ever after.他们甚至还能变成红底白点点的花色。
