内容分析：
本部分学习的核心句型是What can you do for the party? I can…教材通过Miss White和Zhangpeng以及John的对话，让学生感知上述功能句的语义及语用情景。
设计意图：
由于教材内容对于五年级学生而言较为容易，所以在教材内容的基础上结合第一单元所学，加入了I’m helpful/shy…I can…并根据Let’s try的听力练习增加了句型I can’t…but I can…。拓展环节，以一个漫画故事的形式呈现整个对话框，并结合10月31日万圣节的生活实际，让学生自行编对话。
三、教学目标：
1.能理解课文大意；能按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话并角色扮演。
2.能运用核心句型完成问答活动。
3.核心句型及拓展句型在故事语篇中以及生活情景中的运用。
4.鼓励学生积极参与文娱活动，丰富业余生活。
四、教学重难点：目标1，2，4为重点；目标3为难点。
