Florentijn Hofman is a Dutch artist. Hofman's inspiration for Floating Fish is brought out by Chinese folk tales. New studies indicate that music can be an effective pain reliever①. The kind of music does not matter, as long as it is peaceful, and is especially effective when it has been chosen by the patient. There are several theories behind the claim. Running counter to② what③ most people believe about pain, some researchers lean towards the idea that④ most of our pain is actually caused by stress, and since⑤ music relieves stress, it will help relieve pain.
