Section Ⅳ Writing 话题写作——一个生存故事
本单元的写作项目是写一个有关生存的故事。该类作文属于记叙文文体，写作时要注意把记叙文的六要素：时间、地点、人物、事件的起因、经过和结果交代清楚。文章的末尾可以发表自己的感悟、感想。
一、基本框架
第一段：何时、何地发生的危险；
第二段：这些危险是什么，主人公是如何设法摆脱危险的；
第三段：主人公的感受是什么。
二、时态
有关生存的故事以一般过去时为主，辅以一般现在时和一般将来时。
三、写正文时应注意的问题
正文部分必须准确地交代清楚事件的时间、地点、经过和教训等。
1. 开头常用句式
①There was a fire in Red Star School yesterday.
昨天在红星学校发生了一场火灾。
②The heavy rain in Chongqing has brought great difficulty to rescue work.
重庆的大雨给救援工作带来了巨大的困难。
③This has been the worst in the past decade years.
这是过去十年里最糟糕的一次了。
2．主体段落常用句式
①Now thousands of firemen and soldiers are fighting fire in the forest.
现在成千上万的消防员和士兵正在森林里灭火。
②Whole villages were wiped out by the earthquake.
地震把整座整座的村庄夷为平地。
③In one recent crack up, two drivers survived with only minor injury.
在最近的一次撞车事故中，两名司机幸免于难，仅受轻伤。
④The army lifted people off rooftops where they had climbed to escape the flooding.
军队把爬到房顶躲避洪水的人们空运走。
