(二)单元教材分析
本单元的学习主题是自然公园,以单元话题“Human and nature”为导向,带领学生欣赏自然界的优美的景观,感受自然公园里面的人文景观,体会人与自然共存的理念,接着描绘这自然界中的美好景象,最后分享在自然界中发生的趣事,引导学生亲近自然、热爱自然,并能了解一些环保常识。整个语篇在单元大任务“ Human and nature ”的引领下,划分为三个子话题,成为五个新语篇,其中包括两节对话单词融合课,一节阅读课,一节语音课和一节故事课。语篇一是A部分的对话和词汇整合课。教材通过Miss White 带领学生去自然公园游玩的情景展开,他们来到自然公园,感受大自然中美好的风景,了解到自然公园中有森林、高山、小山丘、河流和湖泊,还有人在湖里划船,体现了人与自然和谐相处的画面,引导学生亲近自然,热爱大自然。语篇二是B部分的对话和词汇整合课。教材通过Miss White和学生来到了自然公园的一个村落,感受自然公园里面的人文景观,了解村落里面有房子、建筑物、桥、餐馆、树木以及各种小动物,感受村落的宁静和美好,体会到人与大自然和谐相处,引导学生保护环境,爱护我们美好的家园。语篇三是一篇读写课。教材语篇与上一单元Mr Jones写给Robin的邮件紧密相连,Robin帮Mr Jones收拾完房子之后被窗外的优美景色所吸引,房子附近就是一个自然公园,公园里有高高的山,山的前面是一片小村庄,村庄附近有一条河流穿过,还有许多鸭子在湖里自由自在的游泳,如此宁静和谐的画面,Robin决定把它画下来。学生阅读语篇,完成 Robin的画,并用所学的语言描述这美丽的画面,引导学生学会欣赏大自然的美,热爱大自然。语篇四是一篇语音课。基于单元子任务“Parties in the nature park”,结合教材内容,创编新语篇,描述 Wiss White和孩子们在自然公园的快乐时光,他们在派对上一起唱歌,一起做游戏,一起阅读等。学生通过语篇阅读,感知 ou在单词中的发音规则,并通过一些列的听力训练活动,拼读拼写活动强化这一发音规则。语篇五是一篇故事课。延续上一课时,继续围绕单元子任务“Parties in the nature park”而展开,孩子们在派对上读了一个有趣的故事,故事内容是Zoom和Zip来到自然公园游玩拍照的故事,它们在自然公园里看到了漂亮的桥梁,美丽的高山和树木,还发现公园里面有一座房子,里面堆满了谷物,房子外面的书上还有一只考拉,Zoom还给考拉拍了一张照片,但是当他们来找照相馆洗照片的时候发现相机卡坏掉了。学生通过阅读趣味故事,再次感受大自然美好的风光,学会欣赏和爱护大自然,同时也鼓励学生大胆猜测故事后面的内容,引导学生做事要细心,积极对待生活中的种种意外。
三、学情分析
知识储备学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,有一定的语言基础,且有着良好的学习习惯。学生在本单元的语言知识储备方面,已经在三年级下册Unit 4和上单元学习了关于方位介词的表达,也在上单元学习了There be结构,已经能够比较熟悉得运用它来描述某地有某物。认知水平学生具有较强的口语表达能力,有用英语思维的习惯,具备一定的分析和概括能力,已经掌握了一定的阅读策略,有小组合作学习的习惯。生活经验学生对大自然充满好奇,喜欢出行,他们已经有过研学旅行的经验。
