With its rolling hills, dramatic waterfalls, and rich woodlands, the Durham Dales in
England provides a natural habitat for birds-and it's also home to zoologist and artist Sara
Cox.Surrounded by nature since childhood, she has always been passionate about birds.
Today, she creates detailed bird sculptures made from fine metal wire, combining scientific
knowledge with artistic creativity to raise awareness about the challenges facing bird
populations and to inspire people to care for them.
As a child,Sara spent much of her time outdoors with her brothers-exploring the
garden or walking in the countryside. These early experiences helped her develop a deep
appreciation for the natural world. At the same time, creativity was a strong presence in her
home:her father,an engineer,enjoyed welding()and building,while her mother made
pottery in her spare time.Their hands-on skills and artistic sensibility gave Sara both
technical and creative foundations.Later, when she moved to Mickleton 20 years ago,the
surrounding wildlife became a powerful source of inspiration.Observing birds up close in their
natural habitat helped her find her own artistic voice and connect her love of nature with
sculpture.

Dear Jin.
How's your English learning going I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma when choosing between an
electronic translation pen and a paper dictionary and I'd like to recommend the former to you.
Rcasons are as follows.Firstly,it's extremely time-saving.When you encounter unknown words while
reading or listening, you can get accurate translations instantly by scanning the words. This helps you focus on
the whole content instead of pausing to look up words in a paper dictionary.Secondly,it's portable and
multifunctional. You can carry it in your bag anywhere, and most pens offer extra features like pronunciation
guides, example sentences and even offline use. These functions are especially useful for improving your
listening and speaking skills.Though paper dictionaries provide detailed explanations, they are heavy and less
efficient. For a busy language learner like you,an electronic translation pen is more practical.
Hope my suggestion is helpful. If you have further questions, feel free to ask me.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

参考范文:
Somehow,he noticed me singing along. He looked up and slowly walked toward me,his eyes shining with
surprise and warmth.I slipped the rolled bill into his rough hand, and he gave me a grateful nod. Then, leaning
closer,he whispered,"Sing with me,sister."Without hesitation,I joined him.Our voices blended,his strong
and soulful, mine soft but steady. For a moment, the crowded train car felt like a tiny concert hall, filled not
with heat and impatience, but with harmony.
It was still hot and sticky inside the car,but something had changed. One by one, passengers lifted their
heads, listening. The young boy's swaying turned into clapping, his laughter breaking through the dull silence.
A few others began humming along, and even his mother put down her phone. When the song ended, coins and
bills appeared in the man's cap from every direction. He stood taller, pride glowing in his smile, and I felt a
quiet joy-proof that even in a weary city, music could open hearts and bring strangers together.
