柘皋中学2016/2017学年度上学期高一英语试卷
第一部分:阅读理解(共20小题;每小题2分,满分40分)
A
Today
almost
everyone
knows
computers
and
the
Internet.
If
I
ask
you
"What
is
the
most
important
in
your
life
"maybe
you
will
say
"Computers
and
the
Internet."
The
first
computer
was
made
in
1946.It
was
very
big
but
it
worked
slowly.
Today
computers
are
getting
smaller
and
smaller.
But
they
work
faster
and
faster.
What
can
computers
do
A
writer
has
said,
"People
can't
live
without
computers
today."
The
Internet
came
a
little
later
than
computers.
It
is
about
twenty-five
years
later
than
computers.
But
now
it
can
be
found
almost
everywhere.
We
can
use
it
to
read
books,
write
letters,
do
shopping,
play
games
or
make
friends.
Many
students
like
the
Internet
very
much.
They
often
go
into
the
Internet
as
soon
as
they
are
free.
They
make
friends
on
the
Internet
and
maybe
they
have
never
seen
these
friends.
They
don't
know
their
real
names,
ages
and
even
sex(性别).They
are
so
interested
in
making
the
"unreal
friends"
that
they
can't
put
their
hearts
into
study.
Many
of
them
can't
catch
up
with
others
on
many
subjects
because
of
that.
We
can
use
computers
and
the
Internet
to
learn
more
about
the
world.
But
at
the
same
time,
we
should
remember
that
not
all
the
things
can
be
done
by
computers
and
the
Internet.

"Bad
luck
always
comes
in
three"
and
last
Saturday
seemed
to
prove
it.
After
trouble
with
the
car
and
the
television,
we
spent
the
evening
waiting
for
the
next
trouble.
Shortly
after
dinner
we
both
smelled
smoke.
My
wife,
who
was
often
careless
when
cooking,
ran
to
the
kitchen
but
returned
looking
puzzled.
I
rushed
up
the
stairs
to
see
smoke
coming
from
under
our
bedroom
door.
I
went
to
the
bathroom
and
tied
a
wet
cloth
over
my
face.
Then
I
returned
to
the
bedroom,
opened
the
door
and
crawled(爬)
in-there
would
be
less
smoke
at
floor
level.
With
one
hand
reaching
out
in
front
of
me
I
advanced
carefully
feeling
for
the
switch
to
turn
off
the
electric
blanket.
At
that
moment
I
heard
the
bell
of
a
coming
fire
engine.
Thank
goodness
my
wife
had
not
been
wasting
her
time.

always
comes
with
a
bad
luck.
C
Scientists
are
making
new
study
of
color
and
its
effects
on
our
health.
They
have
known
for
a
long
time
that
the
color
of
a
room
or
the
color
of
the
light
in
it
can
affect
our
feelings.
Many
prisons
and
hospitals
have
at
least
one
room
that
is
painted
pink
.Officials
have
found
that
putting
an
angry
screaming
person
into
a
pink
room
has
a
calming
effect.
Scientist
also
have
found
that
light
and
color
can
produce
physical
changes
in
our
bodies.
Professor
Falfan
worked
with
the
group
of
9
disabled
children
at
the
school
in
Albert.
Two
of
the
children
were
blind.
The
other
seven
had
normal
sight.
The
scientists
changed
the
color
of
the
school
room,
then
looked
for
changes
in
blood
pressure,
heartbeat
and
breathing
rate.
The
effects
of
color
changes
were
the
same
for
the
blind
children
as
for
those
with
normal
sight.
Their
blood
pressure
dropped
from
about
120
to
100.Similar
changes
were
not
reported
in
heartbeat
and
the
breathing.
The
children
also
were
calmer
and
less
excited.
Then
the
colors
of
the
room
were
returned
to
orange
and
white.
Blood
pressure,
heartbeat
and
breathing
rate
went
up
and
the
children
became
excited
again.
Professor
Falfan
said
different
colors
produce
different
level
of
energy.
He
said
the
differences
seem
to
affect
chemicals
in
the
brain
that
carry
messages
from
nerve
(神经)
to
nerve
and
from
nerve
to
muscle.
9.

and
color
can
affect
.

only
one’s
feelings
B.
one’s
energy
and
spirit
C.
one’s
heartbeat,
brain
activities,
blood
pressure,
feelings
and
emotions
D.
one’s
mental
(精神的)
changes
10.
According
to
the
passage,
orange
and
white
can
make
people
.
A.
calm
B.
upset
C.
sick
D.
excited
11.
The
color
of
pink
has
a

effect,

to
say,
the
color
of
pink
affects
.
A.
the
skin
B.
the
eyes
C.
the
muscles
D.
the
brain
12.
After
reading
the
passage
we
can
conclude
that
.
A.
blind
people
can
be

color
too
B.
one’s

And
they

it
was

that
women
had
their
own

They

it,

returned
the
letter
to
him
and
said
with
a
smile,
“How

I
don’t
supply
you
the
money
for
buying

was

up
into
the
air
while
the
angry
bottle
showered(淋)everybody
with
champagne.

My
Opinion
on
Copying
Others’
Homework
It
is
known
to
us
all
that
some
students
copy
others’
homework.
As
students,
we
have
to
do
plenty
of
homework
both
at
school
and
at
home,
but
sometimes
we
have
too
much
homework
which
is
too
difficult
for
us.
On
the
other
hand,
some
students
are
lazy,
and
are
not
interested
in
their
lessons,
nor
do
they
work
hard.
So
in
order
to
finish
the
assignments
and
please
their
teachers,
some
students
copy
others’
homework.
In
my
opinion,
it
is
wrong
to
copy
others’
homework
because
it
breaks
the
rules
of
the
schools.
We
should
be
honest
and
try
to
finish
our
homework
by
ourselves
instead
of
by
copying.
If
you
have
trouble
doing
your
homework
you
can
ask
your
classmates
or
teachers
for
help.
