Section Ⅳ Writing 应用文写作——写一篇日记
本单元的写作任务是写一篇日记。日记作为一种常见的应用文形式，主要是用来记录近日经历的事情，在此基础上，还可以发表自己对这件事情的看法和理解，这样才能突出写日记的意义所在。
基本结构：
1.时间和天气情况
时间通常写在正文的左上角。其表述必须符合英文习惯，如July 18th, 2022, Monday。天气情况应该写在正文的右上角。
2.正文
正文一般用第一人称。日记的内容通常涉及个人经历，作者常会记录一些与之相关的感情。因此，写作时要善于通过主观性的词语(组)来增添日记语言的情感性。
3.时态
在日记中，多用过去时；但当表示习惯性动作、客观事实、普遍真理、名言或谚语时，可以使用一般现在时；当发表自己的感想、打算、期望或决心时，可用一般将来时。
1．开头常用句式
①It is Sunday today. This morning, we had a voluntary activity ...
今天是星期天。上午，我们有个志愿活动……
②We visited ... with ...
我们和……一起参观了……
③This morning, I, as well as some of my classmates, went to the Xinhua Bookstore to buy some books by shared bikes.
今天早上，我和我的一些同学骑共享单车去新华书店买了一些书。
2．主体段落常用句式
①I went up to them and asked how I could help.
我走到他们面前问我能帮什么忙。
②One of my classmates proposed placing them in order, so we got down to work immediately.
我的一个同学提议把它们整理好，所以我们马上开始工作。
③With the help of the recipes and my memories of how my mother usually cooks dishes, I finished it within two hours.
在食谱的帮助下，加上我对妈妈通常做菜方式的记忆，我在两个小时内就完成了这道菜。
④There are several exhibition rooms in the museum, including history, art, science and nature.

Our class went on a school trip today. We set out at 8：30 in the morning for Hongxing Farm, which is not too far from our school.

There were all kinds of vegetables and fruits on the farm—watermelon, apple, cabbage, eggplant and so on. We did many meaningful activities. We went back to school at 4：30 in the afternoon.
