概念辨析:谓语VS非谓语?
谓语动词 —— 句子的“心脏”
定义:陈述主语的动作、行为或状态。
核心特征:
受主语限制:有人称和数的变化(主谓一致)。
有时态变化:可表现为现在、过去、将来等时态。
有语态变化:分为主动语态和被动语态。
例句:
She teaches English. (第三人称单数)
The bridge was built last year. (过去时,被动语态)
They have finished their work. (现在完成时)
非谓语动词 —— 动词的“分身”
定义:不能单独充当谓语的动词形式,但可担任其他句子成分。
核心特征:
不受主语限制:没有人称和数的变化。
保留动词特性:可以有自己的宾语和状语。
兼具其他词性:在句中起名词、形容词或副词的作用。
三种形式:to do (不定式), doing (现在分词/动名词), done (过去分词)
核心心法:一山不容二虎
一个简单句(或一个主句/从句)中,有且只能有一个谓语动词。若已存在谓语,其他动词就必须用非谓语形式。
功能速查表:
-to do (不定式):常表目的、将来。
-ing (动名词/现在分词):表主动、进行。
-ed (过去分词):表被动、完成。
Level 1 (基础功能判断)
My dream is (become) a scientist. (作表语,用to become)
(See) from the top of the hill, the park looks very beautiful. (作状语,被动,用Seen)
The boy (stand) under the tree is my classmate. (作定语,主动,用standing)
Level 2 (固定搭配与句型)
I enjoy (listen) to music. (enjoy doing)
He wants (invite) to the party. (want to do, 被动含义 to be invited)
It's important (learn) English well. (It's + adj. + to do)
Level 3 (复杂结构辨析)
With so much work (do), I can't go out with you. (work与do是被动关系,用to do)
The question (discuss) at the meeting now is very important. (正在被讨论,用being discussed)

独立主格结构:当非谓语的逻辑主语不是句子主语时。
例句:Weather permitting, we'll go hiking. (permitting的逻辑主语是Weather)
with复合结构:with + 宾语 + 非谓语,作状语或定语。
例句:He fell asleep with the lamp burning.
