首句:Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love...most.
My Favourite Sport (Basketball)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love basketball most.I’m crazy about it because it’s not only a great way to stay fit, but also full of excitement—every dribble(运球), pass(传球) and shot(投球) feels like a small adventure(冒险). I play it three times a week after school, usually with my classmates from the basketball club. We laugh and compete together, which makes the game even more fun.
My favourite basketball star is Yao Ming. He’s not just a talented(有天赋的) player with amazing height and skills; he also showed great sportsmanship(体育精神) and helped popularize(宣传) basketball in China. His humility and hard work make him a role model(榜样) for young players like me.
In my opinion, sports are more than just physical activities. They teach us important life lessons—like cooperation(合作), resilience(恢复力/适应力) and respect—and help us build strong bonds with others(与他人建立牢固的联系). Whether we win or lose, the joy of playing together is what truly matters.(无论输赢,一起打球的乐趣才是真正重要的。)
My Favourite Sport (Swimming)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love swimming most. I love it because it makes me feel calm and free—when I glide through(滑动) the water, all my stress seems to melt away(溶解/消失). Also, it’s a full-body workout(全身运动) that keeps me healthy. I swim twice a week at the community pool, often with my mom, who taught me how to swim when I was 8.
My favourite swimmer is Sun Yang. He’s one of the greatest swimmers in the world, with multiple(许多的) Olympic gold medals. What I admire(敬佩) most is his determination(决心)—even when he faced difficulties, he kept training hard to reach his goals. He shows that success comes from persistence(持之不懈/毅力).
To me, sports are a bridge between health and happiness. They let us challenge ourselves, grow stronger, and share happy moments with others. No matter what sport we choose, the key is to enjoy the process and keep moving forward.(无论我们选择什么运动,关键是要享受过程,不断前进。)
My Favourite Sport (Badminton)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love badminton most. It’s my top choice(首选) because it’s fast-paced(快速的) and requires quick thinking—each rally(拉力赛) is a test of both skill and focus(专注力). I play it four times a week, usually with my best friend Lily. We’ve been playing together since middle school, and our matches(比赛) always feel like friendly but exciting battles(对决).
My favourite badminton player is Chen Yufei. She’s a brilliant singles player(出色的单打运动员) with quick movements and smart tactics(战术). I like her because she stays calm even in tense(紧张的) matches—she never lets pressure affect her performance(表现). She shows that a cool head can lead to great results.(冷静的头脑可以带来好的结果。)
I think sports are an essential(至关重要的) part of life. They don’t just keep our bodies healthy; they also shape our personalities(塑造我们的个性)—teaching us to be patient, competitive(有竞争力的), and supportive(支持的). Playing sports makes us not only stronger physically(身体上), but also mentally(心理上).
My Favourite Sport (Running)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love long-distance running most. I’m fond of(喜爱) it because it’s a quiet but powerful way to challenge myself—when I run, I can clear my mind (清空思绪)and feel the strength(力量) of my body step by step. I run every morning, usually alone, but sometimes I join the school running club for group training on weekends.
My favourite runner is Eliud Kipchoge(埃鲁德·基普乔格). He’s the first person to run a marathon in under two hours, and what impresses(使...敬佩)( me most is his attitude—he says “no human is limited(受限的).” His belief in pushing boundaries inspires me to keep improving my own running goals.(他对挑战极限的信念激励着我不断提高自己的跑步目标。)
In my view, sports are a journey of self-discovery. They let us know our limits(限制) and then break them, and they teach us to respect our bodies while chasing(chase 追逐) progress. Even small, daily efforts in sports can lead to big changes in our lives.
My Favourite Sport (Volleyball)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love volleyball most. I love it because it’s a super energetic(充满活力的) team sport—every serve(发球), spike(扣球) and block(盖帽) needs everyone to work together, which makes every point feel like a shared victory(共同的胜利). I play it twice a week after class with my volleyball team members from school.
My favourite volleyball team is the Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team. They’re famous for their “fighting spirit(战斗精神)”—even when they’re behind(落后的), they never give up. Their wins in the Olympics and World Championships(世界锦标赛) show that teamwork and perseverance(毅力) can beat any opponent(对手).
To me, sports are about connection(连接). They bring people together, teach us to rely on(依靠) others, and let us feel the joy of working toward a common(共同的) goal. Whether we win or lose, the bonds we build through sports last forever.(无论我们是赢是输,我们通过体育建立起来的纽带会永远持续下去。)
My Favourite Sport (Tennis)
Doing sports plays an important role in our daily lives.Of all the sports, I love tennis most. I’m crazy about it because it’s a perfect mix of (混合)speed, skill and strategy(策略)—each shot(发球) is a choice, and outsmarting(outsmart 智取) an opponent(对手) feels incredibly(非常地) satisfying. I play it three times a week, usually with my tennis coach, but I also practice with my cousin on weekends.
My favourite tennis player is Serena Williams(塞雷娜·威廉姆斯). She’s one of the greatest players of all time, with amazing power and a fierce competitive spirit(激烈的竞争精神). What I like most is how she stands up for herself and inspires(inspire 鼓励) young girls to pursue(追求) sports boldly(大胆地).
I think sports are a reflection(反映) of life. They teach us to adapt to(适应)changes, learn from failures(失败), and believe in our own abilities. Even when things don’t go as planned, sports show us that we can always find a new way to succeed.(即使事情没有按计划进行,体育运动也告诉我们,我们总能找到通往成功的新途径。)
