课标要求 （2022版）《义务教育英语课程标椎》指出在语境中理解词汇的含义，在运用中逐步积累词汇；在特定语境中，运用词汇描述事物、行为、过程和特征，表达与主题相关的主要信息和观点。能用简短的句子描述所学的与中外文化有关的具体事物：初步具有观察、识别、比较中外文化异同的能力;能识别、提炼、概括语篇的关键信息、主要内容、主题意义和观点。
教材分析 What: 本课时是一节小学生日常对话课。教材继续延续上一节课的情景，通过Sarah和Mike参观张鹏家客厅的情景展开学习，了解张鹏的客厅有爸爸画的国画，奶奶种的绿植，爷爷奶奶的花园还有很多花。在拓展部分继续描述客厅的物品，有很多金鱼、书籍，还有两只狗。Why: 本课时结合教材内容和话题任务，在学习理解过程中设置了听力，阅读，看视频等方式引导学生了解对话大意，学生能描述张鹏客厅中有哪些物品，及其物品的位置，引导学生学会介绍自己客厅的物品，体会中国人的家居风格，培养学生爱家及爱家人的美好情感。How: 本课时的语篇主要有听力和对话两部分组成，由于这两部分的相关性比较强，所以过渡自然，通过设置听力，由易到难，逐步理解对话语言，理解There are...搭配名词复数，描述某处有某物，学生在情景中理解新词和词组的意思并正确发音：in front of, grandparents, their, house, flower, lots of。最后基于语言框架，介绍自己的客厅，进行语言表达输出。
学情分析 在心理特征上，五年级的学生活泼好动、对新话题充满兴趣，喜欢表现自我，勇于挑战；在知识上，学生从三年级开始学习本套教材，已有两年的学习经验和语言积累，具有一定的听说读写的学习能力，但获取信息和处理信息的能力尚显不足，用英语流利表达提问的能力有待提高。这是本课在培养学生的能力方面需要重点关注的问题。这节课属于对话课，学生在情境与任务中通过唱读，猜测，听说读等一些列活动完成分析推理并进行文本建构，习得新词，掌握并在情景中运用核心语言，逐步形成读图能力、分析推理能力和听说读的语言技能，及运用英语进行交际的习惯。
