教学反思
本节课是一篇阅读课, 我通过以talent为主线,首先谈论班级谁最漂亮,再到班级谁最有才,紧接着谈论三亚谁最有才,通过设疑让学生观看赵小熙的视频,引入talent show这个话题谈论,充分激活学生学习的热情。在while-reading部分,我设计了三个tasks, 让学生展开以阅读为主的学习活动,始终以学生为学习的主体,循序渐进。Task1是让学生快速阅读,找出文章提及到的三个talent shows。由于前面已经让学生通过brainstorm说出了一些talent shows 名称,所以学生很快能找到答案。Task2也是快速浏览文章并匹配各段落大意,同时引导学生学会说出关键的主题句,然后再综合理解重编标题,综合地检测了学生对文章的总体理解与归纳能力。Task3是让学生细读文章进行问题回答,同时也对学生回答问题进行技巧的指导---即找关键词或关键句。读后我设计了完形填空,小结课文以及给talent show 活动推荐“达人”等任务链活动,让学生在阅读后,有一个语言输出的平台,把读写相交融,同时还引导学生辩证地看待事情,把文章主题升华,在教学中渗透情感教育。在教学过程中,我还关注对学生的细节评价,让每位学生都能发现自己的优点,继续发扬,同时也可以让别的学生学习借鉴,对教师的课堂教学有着极好促进效果。
整堂课下来,我自己感觉不是很满意,存在着许多的不足。比如:在while-reading 部分,对学生的阅读策略的指导不够,读后设计的完形填空对学习效果的检测没有多大意义,同时对文本的挖掘深度不够,没能引领学生去细细地欣赏与体会。这主要还是取决于自己对学生的了解不够,作为一名教师,除了备教材,还要备学生,对学情的了解至关重要。一开始我以为学生的基础不是很好,因此备课时,对本课我涉及的问题比较简单,以注重基础、表面的东西为出发点,想循序渐进地培养学生的阅读与写作能力。还有,自己在课堂语言的使用方面,还需要加强。
通过参加这次比赛,听了专家评委的点评,我受益匪浅。今后一定要把自己学习到的优点运用到英语课堂教学中,把自己的不足之处摒弃。

本节课是一节阅读课,注重培养学生的阅读技能,打破传统教师精耕细作的阅读教学方式,打破教学中学生长期依赖教师的心理,利用多媒体(PPT)将听说读写渗透到阅读教学,实现阅读课文的整体教学。通过以talent为主线,谈论学生熟悉的“最……的人”引入话题,接着通过学生非常感兴趣的“达人秀”话题展开以阅读为主的学习活动,始终以学生为学习的主体,循序渐进,从掌握文章大意到找主题句重编标题,再到文章细节分析找关键词、进行问题回答,培养学生的阅读技能。读后设计了完形填空、给talent show 推荐“达人”等任务链活动,帮助学生运用、巩固所学的知识。
现代英语阅读教学理论指出,阅读教学的目的,不单纯是要学生学习掌握语言知识,更重要的是通过阅读获取信息、学习文化、发展阅读技能和策略,为继续学习和终身发展打下基础。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析:
本节课是人教版教材Go for it八年级英语上册Uint4 Section B的第二课时,是第一课时听说的深化,是一节阅读课。本课时以talent为主线,2a的读前活动引出“达人秀”话题,然后通过阅读一篇关于“达人秀”的文章,了解“达人秀”的起源、基本特点、人们喜爱的原因及对这类节目的评价,了解才艺展示等。通过本课时的学习,引导学生辩证地看待事物,并鼓励学生多培养才艺技能。
学生情况分析:
本课的教学对象是八年级的学生,通过一学年的英语学习,学生已具备一定的语言自主学习能力。由于前几课时的学习,学生也了解了形容词、副词的最高级并能运用来正确描述人或事物,为本节课的学习做了语言铺垫。但是,受学生阅读能力有限,一课时学习一篇阅读文章太难了,所以本课我涉及的问题比较简单,以注重基础、表面的东西为出发点,循序渐进地培养学生的阅读与写作能力。

知识目标:
1)、能理解以下词汇:talent show ,magician , have……in common, winner, be up to ,play a role 等。
2)能掌握以下句型:I think .. is the most talented person.

2)能运用不同的阅读策略来阅读文章,完成相应的阅读任务,训练学生的阅读技能。
