1.?整体设计思路、指导依据说明
人教版教材编写思路清晰，符合学生认知发展规侓，单元按语言功能意念项目编排，话题按相关教学任务编排，每一话题按听、说、读、写的语言技能编排。我所上的课是Section A，以“听”﹑“说”的语言技能为主。根据“先听后说，当堂训练”的基本理念，俩俩合作，操练对话。而教师在整个学生学习过程中只起到引导﹑参与指导的作用。根据语言的工具性，学生先听、再说，然后到写，从输入到输出便达到利用工具的目的。

教学内容分析：
本课时主要是围绕着“What’s the best movie theater?’这一主题展开各种教学活动，并以这主题引出形容词和副词的最高级。课文中设计了图片，录音，对话,游戏等活动让学生进行听、说等各种学习活动。
学生情况分析：
教学的对象是三亚市第四中学初二平行班学生，大部分学生有学习目标，学习态度端正，有一定的英语水平，但学习自主性不太强。因此我在教学活动中尽量设计熟悉的人或物让他们参与活动中来，有更多的机会来说英语，通过学生间的合作学习，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。

Teaching procedures:
Stage I. Pre-listening
Step1. Warming up
Greet students.
Have students answer freely: What do you usually do on weekends?
Do you know my activity? I usually go to movies with my son.
(Purpose: lead in the topic of this lesson)
Step2. Presentation
1. Show pictures and ask students
What’s this? What can you see?
What’s the best movie theater? How do we choose them carefully?
Present new words: theater, worst, screen, seat, close to, ticket, cheaply
2. Show pictures and compare
It’s the biggest. It has the most comfortable seats.
3. Look at the things on the screen and answer
What’s important/not important to choose movie theaters? 1a
(Purpose: have students learn new words and phrases)
Tell students I have some friends and they want to watch movies.
There are three movie theaters in the town, Town Cinema, Screen City and Movie World.
Stage II . While-listening
Listen to 1b and match the statements with the movie theaters.
Listen again. Check the answers with the students
Have students find out the rules of superlative forms of adj./adv.
(Purpose: enable students to get the information about the theaters)
Show some pictures and have students know something about the listening

6. Listen again , and fill in the blanks in 2b.
(Purpose: Practice students’ listening ability)
Stage III. Post-listening
Step1. Pair-work
Guide students to talk about their weekend activities.
Have some pairs act out for the class.
(Purpose: improve the students’ speaking ability by talking about their weekend activities)
Step2. Guessing games
Have students describe classmates with the superlative forms of adj. and adv.
Have other students guess who he/she is.
