Lesson 4
Unit 2 Safety
1 Read the questions and give your answers.
A What do you need to do when you cross the street
When crossing the street, we need to follow traffic rules, such as using crosswalks, looking both ways to make sure there are no cars coming. Also, we should stay alert and not be distracted by things like mobile phones.
B What should you do when you see someone badly hurt in an accident
If I see someone badly hurt in an accident, first, I should stay calm. Then, I need to make an emergency call for help immediately. While waiting for help, I can check if the injured person is conscious and breathing. If the wound is bleeding, I should try to stop it with a clean cloth or a bandage. But be careful not to move the injured person randomly, especially if he or she might have a spinal injury, as it could cause more harm. (答案均不唯一)
