Version 1(支持版)
Should Community Service Be a Requirement for Graduation
When it comes to whether students should be required to complete community service to graduate, I firmly believe it makes great sense (非常有意义).
Firstly, participating in community events allows us to see firsthand the difference we can make. (理由1) It fosters a sense of social responsibility—an essential quality for any citizen. (拓展说明) Moreover, engaging in community service helps us develop skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership. (理由2) These skills are invaluable not only in academic settings but also highly sought-after (adj. 争相获得的;吃香的;广受欢迎的) in the job market. They give us an edge in (使我们更具优势) the competitive world. (拓展说明)
In conclusion, making community service a graduation requirement better prepares us for life beyond high school. It equips us with (赋予……) skills and values that will serve us well (对……大有帮助) into the future.

Version 2(反对版)
Should Community Service Be a Requirement for Graduation
Well-intentioned (adj. 用意良好的) as it is, I don’t think
making community service a requirement for graduation is a wise choice.
Volunteering should be motivated by a desire to help others, not by obligation. When it becomes a requirement, students may see it as (把……看作) just another item on their to-do list (待办清单), which weakens the positive impact it should have. Moreover, considering the different challenges students face such as heavy schoolwork or family duties, a one-size-fits-all (一刀切) requirement is not appropriate.
Therefore, schools should inspire students to get involved in (参与) community service instead of forcing them to participate. Only in this way will students be more likely to engage in (参与) community service, creating a more meaningful and lasting impact (产生更有意义、更持久的影响). 利用倒装句强调“只有这样”过渡,点明替代方案的优势

Our Team’s Views on Nicknaming Other Students
Hello, everyone! On behalf of our team, I’d like to share our views on the phenomenon of some students giving nicknames to others on campus.
(陈述观点的模板句) We hold the view that it’s inappropriate to casually nickname classmates. Firstly, while you don’t do it intentionally, some nicknames might be hurtful. (理由1) Secondly, those who are unwilling to receive such nicknames may feel embarrassed or uncomfortable in public, leaving some emotional scars in their hearts. (理由2) More importantly, it may disrupt classroom harmony, leading to conflicts among classmates.(理由3)
In conclusion, we should respect every classmate and stop creating nicknames that might offend. Only in this way can we build a friendly and harmonious environment.
