Virtual reality , just like its name, is reality that looks real but is not real at all. With the relevant equipment, one can experience the virtual reality technology immediately. This is a technology that has been used in the fields of education and medicine. It helps students understand many complex situations from universe to micro world. In medicine, VR can help surgeons practice on a virtual " twin" before operating on the real person. Besides, it will have huge impacts on our daily lives as well, such as entertainment, shopping and travelling. However, there are some barriers to its development, like time, cost and technical limitations. Despite these challenges, VR still has a bright future.
