Good morning, dear teachers and fellow students,
I’m Li Hua. I am honored to give the speech with the theme of “One Earth, One Responsibility.”
Our Earth is a unique, interconnected ecosystem, providing us with air, water, and nourishment. Yet, it faces unprecedented challenges: climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss, which affect our health, our future. Protecting the environment is not an option but a fundamental duty for all of us
As a student, our power lies in daily, concrete actions. First, let’s become “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” champions. Carry a reusable water bottle, use both sides of paper, and sort waste diligently. Second, be an energy guardian. Turn off lights and air conditioners when leaving a classroom. Third, become an environmental advocate. Share knowledge with family and friends, and politely discourage littering.
Fellow students, let’s rise to our shared responsibility. Let’s start from this campus, from this moment. Our small steps can create a giant leap for our one and only Earth.
Thank you.
第二节 读后续写 (满分25分)
When Nicholas didn’t show up, his father realized there must be something wrong. The father contacted the police, and a search team was gathered to look for the missing teenager. Although the weather conditions were poor and the wind was still fierce, they didn’t lose hope of finding Nicholas alive. They knew the clock was ticking, and Nicholas stood a better chance of survival the earlier they found him. The team split up. One of the searchers who knew the area better decided to sweep a mountain trail he used to hike up.
The next day, Nicholas heard the sound of a snowmobile. He went out and followed the sound to find help. He had walked for about a mile when he heard someone calling his name. He moved towards the sound, and sure enough, a few minutes later, he came face to face with the searcher. Despite feeling weak, Nicholas was generally in good condition, feeling really happy. It was Nicholas’ calmness and bravery that saved him, enabling him to reunite with his family.

W: Not really, ⑧I think the amount we speak has a lot to do with our jobs, who we live with, and our personalities.
M: ⑧But I think it depends a lot on personalities. In the past, it was thought that women speak much more than men. Recently I read a study that suggested men and women actually speak about the same amount each day. However, what they talk about is different.
W: How so
M: ⑨The researchers found that women talk more about people and relationships, while men talk more about sports, numbers and small tools.

M: Are you talking about the dog or yourself Come on, she’ll be fine at the pet shop.
W: She’ll be stressed out the whole time.
M: I know it’s hard to leave her behind. If you’re worried, why not take Lucky to Grandma’s

W: Hey, I was just reading about how different sports are popular in different countries. It’s fascinating how cultural preferences shape that.
M: Oh, for sure! Like in the United States, American football and basketball are huge. The Super Bowl is a major event.
W: Right. But if we go to Brazil, soccer is the heartbeat of the nation. The way they play is so expressive and skillful.
M: And let’s not forget cricket in India. It’s not just a sport; it’s almost a religion.
W: Absolutely. And then there’s tennis in Australia. The Australian Open is one of the Grand Slams, and it’s a huge deal every year.
M: True. And in China, table tennis is incredibly popular. It’s seen as a national sport, and they dominate internationally.
W: That’s interesting because it’s not as mainstream elsewhere. And in Spain, bullfighting has a unique appeal, despite the argument.
M: It’s definitely a cultural and grand event, though it’s not for everyone. It’s these unique appeals that make sports so special in different parts of the world. They reflect the spirit and values of the people.
Text 10
M: Welcome to The Teachers’ Room, the show all about teaching practice. The first day with a new class can be scary! Let’s talk about three things you can do with a new class. First, break the ice. Icebreakers are a fantastic way to help a new group come together. They should allow everyone to participate without feeling embarrassed. For example, one idea is “What’s in Your Schoolbag ” Ask students to empty their schoolbags to find an object that is significant to them. Let the group guess why each object is significant before the owner explains its importance. Second, the first day is also perfect for a needs analysis. It lets you understand what your students expect to do. You can hand out cards with topics, vocabulary groups, or skills on them. And then have students rank them in order of what they’d like to focus on. Lastly, it is important to establish class rules on the first day. You should get students to debate some rules for the class. This approach gets them invested in the class, gives them some responsibility, and makes them more likely to follow the rules. Thank you for joining us in The Teachers’ Room, and we hope these tips help make your first day with a new class a success!2025-2026学年第一学期高三年级阶段性监测
