be about to do 表示即将发生的动作。 它一般不与表示时间的副词或其他时间状语连用 Hurry up! The football match is about to begin!
be to do 表示事先商定、安排或准备要做的事情，常与表示将来的时间状语连用 The president is to meet the foreign guests this afternoon.

2. I feel as if high school was only yesterday!
我觉得高中生活就像昨天发生的事一样历历在目!
as if: used to describe how a situation seems to be 犹如，好像
e.g. The black clouds are gathering. It looks as if it is going to rain.
乌云密布，看样子要下雨了。
feel “感觉像”是系动词，后接as if/as though “仿佛/好像……”引导的表语从句。

as if 还可引导状语从句
e.g. He treats me as if I were a stranger.
【注意】
在as if引导的从句中，如果事件接近事实则用真实语气，与事实相反则用虚拟语气。
e.g. We felt as if we had witnessed the whole thing.
