What’s your sweet memory about your family members
One sweet memory I have about my family members is when we all went on a vacation to the beach. We spent the entire week enjoying the sun, sand, and each other's company. We played games on the beach, had picnics, and spent multiple evenings watching the beautiful sunset together. It was a time filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments
that brought us closer as a family.
1. Look at the picture! What can you see Could you guess their relationship How do you know that
The picture shows a middle-aged woman (mother) and a little girl (daughter) are smiling to each other. They are so close to each other by connecting their bodies. We can smell the sweetness from their smiles.

2. Is it a narration or an exposition How do you know that
It’s a narration,
because it recounts an
unforgettable event which happened ten years ago.

Because it shows the love between the author and her mother.
2. What happened in the author’s memory
The author wanted to surprise her mother with home-made scrambled eggs on her mother’s birthday. Unluckily, the eggs were burnt, but they ended up laughing about it and eating them all anyway.
4. In your opinion, which moment makes the author moved the most Why do you think so
The daughter worried about the burned eggs. However, her mother wasn’t angry with her and ate them. She must feel the magic love at that moment.
5. How do you understand “Love is indeed a magical ingredient.”
Love is a beautiful emotion—be it the affection for family, the friendship for friends, or the attachment to a beloved place. Love brings with kindness, understanding, respect, and trust; it can melt all barriers and fill people with strength.

本写作任务要求结合自身经历描写一次难忘的家庭往事，属于记叙文的范畴。写作时应注意以下几点：
1. 把握记叙文的六要素（时间、地点、人物、事件的发生、发展及结果）；
2. 人称以第一人称为主，时态以过去时为主，但应注意不论是人称还是时态，都要从实际出发，灵活选用；
3. 语言力求详略得当、具体生动。
二、谋篇布局
本写作可分为三部分：
第一部分：引入话题；
第二部分：具体描述事件；
第三部分：表达自己的感受。
There is a small bike lying quietly in our garage. It is quite old and I can no longer ride it, but I still keep it there, as it brings back a sweet memory.
Many years ago, it was a Sunday morning on my sixth birthday. My father bought me a new bike. I could not wait to get on it and learn how to ride, so I begged my father to teach me in the garden. After I sat on the new bike, my father helped me put my two hands on the handlebars and my feet on the pedals.
Then, he pushed the bike so that the pedals started to move. I was scared! But my father kept encouraging me. I could cycle around the garden shortly after my first try. It was amazing. But unluckily, I was so busy waving at him that I didn’t see a small tree in front of me. I hit it and fell off the bike. It hurt a lot and I started to cry. My father encouraged me to stand up, be brave and try again. Gradually, I was able to ride the bike more skillfully.
I kept riding the bike until it was too small for me. It is still one of my most precious possessions, for not only was it my first bike, but a symbol of my courage as well as my father’s love. And I learnt that love has great power.
Remember to check your writing after you finish and exchange drafts between you and your partner. Pay attention to the following aspects:

□Choice of words
□Style (formal/informal)
□Structure
