Father and Son
Germany
Father and son was created by German humourist E. O. Plauen in 1934 when it was wartime in Germany. The funny scenes (场景) and stories between a father and his son in the book are all based on the author’s real experience in daily life.
The comic book if full of human warmth and humour. The son is quite naughty and always makes troubles. But sometimes the boy is lovely and does some moving things, reflecting the innocent love between a father and his son.
After the publication (出版), the comic book soon won the worldwide readers’ love and artists’ high praise. In Germany, it is known as a symbol (象征) of German humour. Its comic form became an important part of the development of the world cartoon, while Plauen made a name for himself as a world humourist.
The von Trapp family

When the film The Sound of Music was released in 1965, it took the world by storm, earning five Oscars.
The musical tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as governess (家庭女教师) to a large family and falls in love with the children and their father, Captain Von Trapp. He is ordered to accept a commission (任务) in the German navy, but he opposes (反对) the Nazis. He and Maria decide to flee (逃离) from Austria with the children.
The film is the rare combination of a powerful and moving story, first rate music, and breathtaking scenery of Salzburg, Austria.
The Parr family

The Incredibles is an American computer-animated (电脑动画的) superhero film written and directed by Brad Bird.
The film follows the Parrs, a family of superheroes who hide their powers in accordance with a government mandate (命令), and attempt to live a quiet normal life. However, Mr. Incredible’s desire to help people draws the entire family to make efforts to rescue (拯救) the world from total destruction.

Home with Kids (《家有儿女》) is a sitcom (情景剧). Xia Donghai, a director of children’s drama who has divorced (离婚), returns from the U.S. with his young son Xia Yu and daughter Xia Xue to start a family with a divorced woman Liu Mei, who has a son, Liu Xing, from her previous (以前的) marriage.
They live happily in Beijing. The story is evolved around the family’s various issues in life and their attempts to solve them, and most episodes (剧集) involve the parents’ attempts to act as a good example for their children and teach them to know right from wrong.
