Do you yawn There are about 20 reasons that scientists think are possible for yawning after research. They do not know exactly why yawning happens, but they do know many facts about yawning.
We know that everyone yawns in the same way. First you open your mouth slowly. Your mouth stays open for about five seconds. You take in a lot of air and then push it out. Then you quickly close your mouth. We also know that yawning is contagious. When you see someone yawn, you yawn, too.
Many people say they yawn because they are bored or tired. That might be true. People do often yawn before they sleep and after they wake up. However, we know that people also yawn when they are excited or nervous. Olympic runners, for example, often yawn before a race. Why is that In2007, scientists found that a yawn can help a warm brain cool down.
Some scientists believe that yawning makes you notice things more quickly. When you yawn, you breathe deeply. You also stretch (强化) the muscles (肌肉) in your face, mouth, and neck. Your eardrums stretch, too. Maybe this helps you to be quicker to notice things.
In some countries, people think yawning is not nice. People put their hands over their mouths to cover a yawn. In other countries, people think yawning is healthy. They think that opening the mouth very big can let good things in. When they breathe out, they think that bad things go out of the body with the air.
Scientists do not spend much time studying yawning. That is probably because yawning does not hurt. It is just something we do.

①Living in China has made me realize how convenient life can be. It’s much better than I ever thought.
②The moment I came to this country, a wave of pleasant surprise washed over me. The public transport system, especially in its big cities like Beijing and Shanghai, is great. The subway networks cover every part of the big cities. People can avoid the traffic jams and get to where they want to go much faster. High-speed trains that connect cities like Beijing and Shanghai in less than five hours are another example of China’s wonderful transportation system.
③Another great thing that stands out in China is the availability (可用性) of services. If my bike is broken and needs a repairman, or if I want to have daily needs, electronics or even medicine, I just need to make a phone call or click on my phone a few times. Since everything is available online, I no longer have to go far to the supermarket or the store. It is one of the key reasons I’ve stayed in China for so long—something I’ve never experienced in any other country.
④What’s more, China’s convenience doesn’t only lie in the speed of services, but also in their user- friendliness. The whole system is designed with user experience in mind. For example, the apps I use for transportation or deliveries are user-friendly, even for people who are not good at technology. Everything, including payment methods, is simple and direct. It means you don’t need to spend time learning how to use the systems. This makes it easy for everyone to get things done without difficulties.
⑤The convenience in China has made me more productive and relaxed. I’m sure that with technological progress and infrastructure (基础设施) development, life in China will become even more convenient in the future.

61.例文
Our English club in our school has discussed about what a good teacher should be like. It is my pleasure to share our ideas with you.
As for students, they think a good teacher should get along well with their students. And they are supposed to try to make their classes lively and active so that students can learn better with great interest. Different from students, parents think it’s very important for a good teacher to have plenty of knowledge. What’s more, teachers should be strict with their students.
In my opinion, the most important thing for a good teacher is to trust and encourage students, especially those who have difficulties in learning. Anyway, they are expected to help their students learn how to learn well.
