that引导的同位语从句,说明feeling的具体内容。
引导同位语从句的词通常有that, whether, how, when, where 等(if, which不能引导同位语从句)。that在同位语从句中没有词义,不充当句子成分,且不能省略。
e.g. He was tortured by the doubt whether he would accept their presents.

with+宾语+v.-ing形式(宾补)构成的复合结构
with / without复合结构在句中常作状语、定语。使用该结构可以使句子简洁明了,增强语言的表现力。其形式如下:
1) with / without +名词/代词+介词短语。
e.g. We sat on the dry grass with our backs to the wall.
2) with / without +名词/代词+形容词。
e.g. With the weather so close, ten to one it’ll rain presently.
3) with / without +名词/代词+副词。
e.g. Holmes and Watson sat with the light on for half an hour.
4) with / without +名词/代词+非谓语动词。
e.g. Possibly this person died without anyone knowing where the coins were hidden.
All the afternoon Jack worked with the door locked.
With much money to spend, the boy was going to buy many books.
5) with / without +名词/代词+名词。
e.g. He died with his daughter yet a schoolgirl.
with / without复合结构的句法功能
1) 作状语。
e.g. With the exams coming next week, I have no time for a social life. (表示原因)
With the medicine box under his arm, the doctor hurried off to look after the old lady. (表示伴随)
With conditions in every way favorable, the man might succeed. (表示条件)
2) 作定语。
e.g. You can just show the clerk a piece of paper with my name written on it.

强调句的特殊句型
(1) 一般疑问句:Is/ Was it + 被强调部分+ that / who + 其他?
e.g. Is it the book that you want to read
(2) 特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+ is/ was it + that / who +其他?
e.g. What was it that made him so happy
(3) no until的强调句式: It is / was not until… + that +其他。
e.g. It was not until yesterday that I knew the bad news.
