As the twins looked around them in disappointment, their father appeared. Seeing all this,
Dad was not too surprised, but comforted them. He helped clear up the mess and encouraged
them to continue cooking. He demonstrated how they should boil porridge and make French
toast. The twins cheered up and did as told. With the help of Dad, they made French toast and
chicken porridge once again. Then the twins prepared the breakfast tray, adding a card they had
made.
The twins carried the breakfast upstairs and woke their mother up. “Happy Mother’s Day,
darling Mummy!” They bowed to their mother as they greeted her. Mon couldn’t help getting
excited when she saw them. She gave them a big hug. “I can’t believe it! You can cook! That’s the
biggest surprise I've ever received.” Meanwhile, Dad also praised them for that. Mother bit off a
piece of toast and said it was the best she had ever tasted. Jenna caught her father’s eye and they
winked at each other secretly.
