重点语法
一、定义
动词不定式
动词不定式可以作除谓语之外的其它所有句子成分,即作主语、宾语、表语、定语、状语、补语
动词不定式的结构为 “to + 动词原形”,属于非谓语动词(不能作句子的谓语)。否定形式是 “not to + 动词原形”
eg: The teacher asked us to hand in the homework.
(老师让我们交作业)
The teacher asked us not to be late again.
(老师让我们别再迟到了)

To finish the task on time is our first goal.
(按时完成任务是我们的首要目标)
一般情况下,-to do做主语更多用于形式宾语句
It is + n./adj. + (for/of sb.) + to do sth.

常接不定式to do作宾语的动词有:
want to do sth.
plan/mean to do sth.

refuse to do sth.

当动词不定式to do这个结构太长,为了利于理解句子意思,通常会把to do放到句子后面,原来的位置用个形式宾语 it 来代替。
常见句型:I find/believe/think + it + adj./n. + (for sb.) + to do sth.

三、动词不定式作表语
1. To do不定式作表语,表示主语的内容和目的。
Eg:My dream is to be a doctor.
2. 动词不定式作表语,表示安排/命令/禁止/意愿/注定发生等意义。
1.President Biden is to visit our country tomorrow .(安排)
2.Children are not to smoke .(禁止)
3. You must be patient and persistent if you are to succeed.(意愿)
4.If you don’t study hard, you are to be a loser.(注定发生)
四、动词不定式作后置定语
不定式作后置定语时,通常修饰名词或不定代词,放于所修饰的词后,为后置定语。
Eg:She has the ability to finish the work alone.
(她有独自完成这项工作的能力)
It’s not the right to interrupt others while they’re speaking.(打断别人说话是不对的)
There’s no time to wait for him.
(没有时间等他了)
五、动词不定式作状语
1.不定式可以用作目的状语,表示动作的目的。
不定式作目的状语的位置可以在句首或句末。不定式可以替换为 "in order to"、"so as to"、"so (such)... as to" 等,通常用于表示发生在谓语动作之后的动作,即尚未发生的将来动作。
eg : 1. To get 100 points, we must work hard.
2. We made a fire to keep us warm.
3. Let's go to the shop to buy some bread.
2. 不定式可以用作结果状语,表示动作的结果。
1. 普通结果(常接 “only” 表意外 / 失望的结果)
He rushed to the station, only to find the train had left.
(他冲到车站,结果却发现火车已经开走了)
2. 自然结果(常用 “enough to”“too...to” 等结构)
The box is light enough to carry with one hand.
(这个箱子很轻,一只手就能拎动)
He is too young to understand the complicated problem.
(他太小了,理解不了这个复杂的问题)

二、写作任务
本单元写作聚焦“发明”主题,核心写作内容主要包含以下三个维度:
1. 发明背景介绍:阐述发明的必要性(如解决了什么现实问题)、灵感来源,以及发明诞生的社会或生活背景。
2. 发明家素养分析:描写发明家身上的优秀品质,如强烈的好奇心、坚持不懈的探索精神、敏锐的观察力、独特的创造力以及敢于尝试的冒险精神等。
