A
Written by E.B.White and first published in 1952, Charlotte s Web is a classic story set largely in a farm. It is a story of friendship and a celebration of farm life, which is full of warmth and wisdom.
The story takes place on a farm. Eight-year-old Fern Arable is sad when she hears that her father is going to kill the smallest one among the new baby pigs. Saying that the pig has a right to life and promising to look after it in their family’s yard, she saves the animal and names him Wilbur. However, fearing his daughter is spending too much time with an animal, Mr. Arable sends Wilbur to the nearby farm of Fern’s uncle, Mr. Zuckerman.
At first, Wilbur is lonely and misses Fern. However, he settles (定居) in his new home when he makes friends with a spider named Charlotte and other animals. When Wilbur learns that he is going to be killed and served at Christmas dinner, Charlotte comes up with a plan to save him.
Charlotte spins (编织) words of praise like “Some pig” for Wilbur on her web. This catches the attention of the Zuckermans and their neighbours. They all think Wilbur is special and the thought of killing him becomes unthinkable.
When Wilbur is taken to the country fair, Charlotte goes to continue her work—She spins new messages. The results draw huge crowds and Charlotte’s plan to save Wilbur’s life pays off.
At the close of the fair, however, Charlotte says goodbye to Wilbur. She is dying. But she entrusts (委托) her friend with her eggs. Heartbroken, Wilbur takes the eggs back to the farm and sees that they hatch (孵化). Three of Charlotte’s “kids” stay with Wilbur and live happily with him on the farm.

Are you an “I” person or an “E” person We hear this question a lot these days. In fact, these are two personality types based on the MBTI test. “I” refers to “introverted” and “E” refers to “extroverted”; that is to say, an “I” person is shy and quiet, while an “E” person is outgoing.
So what is the MBTI test It’s a personality test that helps us better understand our personality preferences (性格偏好) and tells us how we relate to the world around us. It was developed in the 1940s by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers.
When you take the MBTI test, you are presented with several sets of questions. They cover all aspects of your behaviour, preferences and thought processes. For each question, you need to choose the answer that best matches your feelings, attitudes and behaviour. Then you will know what your personality type is. Now click https://www./free-personality-test to learn your MBTI type.
The MBTI test is popular for many reasons. Let’s take a closer look at just a few. First, people want to understand themselves. Human personality is very complex, and this test provides a simple way for people to learn about themselves. Next, taking the MBTI test is relaxing and enjoyable, because its questions are interesting. Then, people try to find connections. The MBTI test offers a way to go beyond small talk and connect with others on a deeper level. Last but not least, while there are many kinds of personality tests on the market, the MBTI test is the most widely recognized.
The MBTI test may show something we don’t know about ourselves and can be a fun way to help us make new friends. But knowing someone’s MBTI results doesn’t mean we really know that person. After all, the MBTI results do not explain who we are.

Do you have a long list of hobbies that light you up but find it hard to balance them all You’re not alone! The real challenge isn’t having too many hobbies, but rather how you manage them. In this passage, we’ll share how to enjoy all your hobbies without burning yourself out.
●Focus on what you enjoy now.
It’s not easy to follow every hobby at the same time. The key is to focus on the hobbies that can bring you the most joy and energy right now. For example, maybe this month you’re excited about photography, but next month, you might want to try cooking. By changing hobbies based on what excites you, you’ll stay interested and avoid burnout.
●Set a flexible schedule (灵活的时间表).
A flexible schedule helps you stay organized without adding pressure. You can create time blocks, such as one evening for drawing and another for guitar practice. But remember to use your hobby schedule as a guide, not a strict rule. If one hobby catches your attention more than the others, feel free to give it more time.
●▲
Why not get creative and combine your hobbies when possible Some activities naturally go well together, allowing you to enjoy many interests. For example, if you love being outdoors and photography, take your camera with you when you go out. By doing this, you can enjoy the best of both worlds while keeping things fresh and exciting.
●Perfection is not necessary.
When you have many interests, it’s easy to feel pressure to be good at all of them. But here’s the thing: hobbies are meant to be enjoyable, not stressful! You don’t need to be a professional artist, chef, or writer to benefit from your hobbies. Focus on the learning process and let go of the need to be perfect. It’s okay to be "just okay” at some things—what matters most is that they bring you joy.
39.What is the real challenge for people with too many hobbies
A. Managing hobbies well.
B. Deciding which hobby to give up.
C. Finding enough money for each hobby.
D. Choosing which hobby to begin with.
40.Why is setting a flexible schedule suggested

Everyone wants to grow to be a better person. To me, growth means not only becoming taller and stronger but also being more independent and brave.
I still remember an experience about learning to ride a bike. At first, I was afraid and fell off many times. It hurt a lot, but I didn’t give up. I kept practicing until I could ride well.
From this experience, I learned that failure is the mother of success. Now, whenever I face difficulties, I will tell myself to be brave and keep trying. This is how I grow up.
