有了前面两年学习英语的经历，五年级学生有了一定的英语水平，而这一课时贴近学生生活实际，因此，本课时主要通过已学知识点，从日常的生活中入手，激发学生想说的欲望，在由浅到深，循序渐进。

1. PPT:出示日历，了解next 的意思，然后出示Miss White的头像,让学生们猜一猜有什么好消息，然后 Miss White 告诉学生：圣诞节快到了，怀特老师的班上要举行一场英文派对，怀特老师要了解班上的学生都能做些什么？ Miss White: We’ll have an English party next Tuesdays. What can you do for the party，Children?
怀特老师询问Mike: What can you do for the party，Mike?让学生猜测 Guess? What can Mike do? 出示两张图片draw pictures, dance.然后Listen and tick.选择正确的答案。
