Have you ever dreamed of flying cars Today, they are becoming real through something called eVTOL. It stands for electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing machines. These are special flying cars that can go straight up and down. They don’t need long runways, but they need to run on batteries (电池) and they are much quieter than planes.
China is doing well in making these flying cars. Some companies like EHang are playing a big part in it. EHang tested its flying cars in cities such as Guangzhou and Zhaoqing. Other Chinese companies like XPeng, are also working on their own flying cars. On February 27, 2024, in a testing flight, an eVTOL made by Shanghai Fengfei flew from Shenzhen to Zhuhai in just 20 minutes, covering 55 kilometers! It shows how important this kind of new car is for China’s future.
Chinese cities are planning special landing spots for flying cars on the top of buildings. By 2026, we might see everyday eVTOL services in some Chinese cities. This could help to relax the heavy traffic on the ground and make travel faster and easier.
However, there are still some problems. First, the batteries need to work longer so that the cars can fly farther. Also, just like we have traffic lights for cars on roads, we need ways to control flying cars in the sky. Right now, these flying cars are still very expensive. Engineers and scientists are working hard to solve these problems. Maybe soon, we will see these quiet flying cars in the skies above our cities!

Communication is how we share ideas and feelings—how we laugh, help, and understand each other. From the past to now, humans have found many ways to connect. Long ago, people wrote letters or shouted messages across villages. Today, a text can reach someone on the other side of the world in seconds.
Good communication needs tools and understanding. In the past, kings sent people on horses for days to share news. Today, TV and apps let us exchange stories at once. A farmer in the countryside and a student in Shanghai can watch the same news. Even simple video calls with grandparents show how technology brings us closer.
________ Take dolphins, the playful sea animals, for example. They “talk” by taking turns making different sounds and using body language. One might hit the water to say, “There’s tasty fish here!” while another blows bubbles to say, “Be careful of sharks!” They comfort each other by touching fins (鱼鳍).
Great communicators listen as much as they speak. In a conversation, we need to let others express themselves. Teachers use simple words and see if students understand in class. Dolphins change their sounds if others seem worried. Clear communication builds trust (信任), like kids sharing secrets or dolphins working together to find food.
As technology develops, our ways to share love, joy, or ask for help grow too. Maybe one day AI will help us understand animals like dolphins by translating (翻译) their sounds. Every step in learning to connect creates a better future together.
