定语从句专项练习题
一、定语从句核心用法
考点1:that/which/who引导的定语从句
核心用法:限定先行词(人/物),在从句中作主语或宾语
who:仅指人,作主语(例:The girl who helped me is my classmate.)
which:仅指物,作主语或宾语(例:The book which I bought is interesting.)
that:可指人或物,作主语或宾语(例:The teacher that taught us is kind./The pen that I lost was found.)
考点2:只能用that的3种情况
先行词是不定代词(all/few/nothing/everything等)
(例:Everything that he said is true.)
先行词被序数词、最高级或the only/the very修饰
(例:This is the best film that I’ve ever seen.)
先行词既指人又指物
(例:We talked about the people and places that we visited.)
考点3:只用which的3种情况
关系代词前有介词(例:This is the house in which he lives.)
先行词本身是that(例:The word that which he used is rare.)
引导非限定性定语从句(用逗号隔开)(例:His new car, which cost a lot, runs very fast.)
考点4:关系副词where/when/why的用法
where:修饰地点名词,作地点状语(=in/at+which)(例:This is the school where I studied.)
when:修饰时间名词,作时间状语(=at/in+which)(例:I remember the day when we met.)
why:修饰reason,作原因状语(=for+which)(例:Tell me the reason why you were late.)
考点5:关系代词whose的用法
核心用法:表“……的”,作定语,可指人或物(例:The boy whose father is a doctor is my friend./The book whose cover is red is mine.)
考点6:谓语动词的一致性
核心规则:关系代词(that/who/which)作主语时,谓语动词与先行词保持一致(例:He is one of the students who study hard./This is the only book that is worth reading.)
