Kevin was crazy about films and music during his childhood. When he started college,he dreamed of making films that could combine his love for storytelling and interest in music.
His biggest challenge came when he planned to make a film about a tennis player.Since no one would offer him money for a 2-hour film,Kevin and his college friends tried to make a shorter one. They bought a second-hand camera and used old things instead of expensive equipment. They even made a shelf on their own to support the camera.
Kevin and his friends worked hard, rain or shine. When filming the tennis player, they ran after him in the summer sun.If it rained and they couldn't film outside, they hung bed sheets on the walls in empty room to set up a simple studio. This 12-minute film got much attention. The teachers and students in their college liked the music they created for it.
After that,Kevin had another idea:to make a musical film. But musicals weren't popular in college, and many said it wouldn't work.Instead of listening to the doubts,Kevin and his team spent weeks writing new songs and making a test video. To film the moving scenes, they fixed a smartphone on a skateboard and pushed it.The actors' hair was blowing in the wind while they were dancing and singing. The loud voice and laughter of the team filled the air.
Their musical film was well received and won several awards at a film festival. As Kevin said, "Making films isn't about having the best equipment or famous actors. It's about finding new ways to tell your story. Our team is planning to make a special documentary about the environment. And I can't wait to write music for it."

Last weekend,I went camping after a long time of tiring work. The trip let me enjoy the clear lake and beautiful views in the woods.I felt the difference at once.I relaxed.I came home feeling rested and a little more cheerful.Going camping became a way to reduce the worry in my life.
I not only got a nice weekend, but I was also experiencing the benefits of nature to my mental health — something that researchers and healthcare providers have long noticed.Research has found that as little as five minutes in nature can be helpful for people to reduce worry and feel happier. This means that we can get relaxed and feel better from stepping outside right away.
If we are unable to put our whole body and mind into nature—for example,by taking a weekend camping trip — we can still find chances in our area.We can take a five-minute break in a small park near our house or take a moment to sit under a large tree. We'll find them useful for refreshing our minds. Our better feelings in later life can evince the active influence of nature.
Besides simply spending more time outdoors, consider how we can enjoy nature even if we have no time to get close to nature.Listen to recorded bird songs or rainstorms instead of music, bring green plants or put pictures of natural beauty into our home.Although bringing nature indoors is quite different from a real outdoor experience,we can still feel nature and experience improved feelings.
Being in nature doesn't ask anything of us.Slow down,go outside, and notice what's around us.Listen, touch and smell, and we will really notice a benefit in our mental health.
11.How did the writer spend the last weekend?______
A. Hiking. B. Camping. C. Skating. D. Shopping.

A. To introduce the trip at the weekend.
B. To compare outdoor and indoor activities.
C. To explain the influence of being outdoors.
D. To discuss the method of the health research.
13.What does the underlined word "evince" in Paragraph 3 probably mean?______
A. Show. B. Give. C. Improve. D. Change.
14.What can help people feel better according to the writer?______
A. Putting plants at home. B. Sitting by the doors.
C. Taking pictures of houses. D. Listening to rock music.
15.What is the writer's main purpose in writing this text?______
