AI trainers are like teachers for computers. Their job is to teach AI to think and learn, just like your teachers help you learn maths and English. If AI makes a mistake, the trainers will go back and teach it again.

As a young piano player and a 7th-grader, Toby has always been curious about the effects of music on people. He has done many tests on this. When he learned that people find it hard to focus, he wondered, “Could music help us improve attention ”
This 14-year-old boy started to search online for the effects of different kinds of music. He wanted to find out if listening to certain kinds of sounds could make people more focused. He then started an online test. He asked 65 people to play a computer game—they had to press a key when they saw certain numbers. Those people were divided into three groups. During the game, one group played in silence. Another group listened to a song from a video game. The third group heard a different tone (音调) in each ear, which created a special beating sound.
After the test, Toby compared the results. He found that the group with the special two-tone sound did the best. The group with the video game music did the worst. Although the results weren’t strong enough to be completely sure, Toby didn’t see that as a failure. For him, it was a starting point for more learning. “If you try something and it doesn’t work, that’s not a problem,” he said. “It’s part of the study process.”

Nowadays, we can find robots easily around us. Some do very difficult jobs like flying planes and driving subways. Others do some simple and boring jobs. When we turn on a washing machine and pour the water in it, the machine waits until the water is warm enough for washing clothes. It does this by “feedback (反馈)”. Robots get information about what is happening and know what to do next. Our eyes, ears and other senses (感官) are our feedback. They tell us what is going on around us. So robots are like humans in two ways. They work and they have feedback.
In some ways, robots are better than humans. They work quickly and hardly make mistakes. They do not get bored with the same job over and over again. And they never get tired. So robots are very useful in factories. They can do many different kinds of jobs.
ChatGPT, a smart AI chatbot (聊天机器人), is very popular all over the world now, it can translate languages, talk with people and write songs, articles, and even jokes. According to a US report of more than 1,000 students, over 89% of them use ChatGPT to help with homework.
But some people show their worries that robots will take the place of humans. Last week, one thousand people were interviewed (被采访) about their worries.
