学情分析
本单元的话题为“vacations and travel”。是与学生生活比较贴近的话题,同时也是学生很感兴趣的话题。学生在第一课时时练习了基本的功能句型谈论想去的地方以及表达原因。但是需要更多的语言输入来为输出做铺垫。从一个城市的优缺点入手,带着学生以巴黎这个城市介绍为范本,从优缺点的角度更加完善的去描述一个城市或者自己喜欢去的地方。这是学生需要掌握的。对于学生来说,他们往往有时过于关注较小的点,而忽视了线和面。如果想要呈现对于一个地方的完整介绍,则需要学生从整体上去把握,从范本中去提炼描述一个城市用到的要素,比如特点,景点,风俗,花费,交通,语言等。围绕这些要素,利用自己所学去丰富去完善。
此外,八年级的学生具备了初步用英语交际能力和思维能力,他们具有较强的求知欲和好奇心。在课堂上他们善于表现自我,乐于积极思考,敢于发表自己的观点,这些个性心理特征有利于师生在课堂上进行交流。
效果分析
一、课前准备练习分析
让学生运用已学目标句型对dream city进行谈论things you like and things you don’t like,大部分学生都完成的不错,为阅读任务能顺利展开做好铺垫。
二、课中巩固练习分析
学生在阅读过程中分别完成了skimming,scanning, detailed reading 的阅读任务,文本较为简单,学生完成起来比较顺利,对文本大意和细节掌握的比较扎实,为下面的retelling 环节打下了基础。但个别单词的发音和长难句的理解上也存在一定的问题,如unless的用法,cost的辨析等。
课后拓展练习分析
本任务是基于对文本结构分析的基础上进一步要求学生运用思维导图和目标句型对某地方进行描述,考察了学生的综合运用能力。每组的A,B层学生做的不错,但C,D层学生的参与受到了抑制,此处可将小组合作后的呈现方式进行变化,一人一个小话题,轮流表达,让所有学生都有参与。
课后反思
我教授的这一课时是一节阅读课。在经历了备课,上课和评课后,结合各位观课老师提出的宝贵意见和本人的体会,现从以下几个方面进行反思。
一、 对教学目标的反思。
就知识目标来说,大部分学生都掌握了目标词汇和目标句型,可以认读并且运用词汇和句型进行谈论,个别学生在词汇认读上易混淆发音,比如“France”和“French”,还有一些较长的单词,比如 :“convenient” “cathedral”等学生读的并不是很准确,在课堂上,我有注意及时纠正发音,但是课下仍需要及时的巩固。针对于能力目标,引导学生概括出特色,景点,交通,花费,语言这五个方面来进行精读,以提取更多的描述性的语言信息,提高学生的阅读能力,同时用来描写这些方面的句型也是本篇的核心句型,学生在对话以及report 环节中进行描述时有所体现。就情感目标来说,优美的世界各地风情引起了学生们极大的兴趣,读万卷书,行万里路的情愫油然而生。
二、 对教学内容的反思。
导入部分是以我的北京之旅为切入点,精选了著名景点,北京烤鸭以及北京地铁等有代表性的图片和学生们分享的同时,鼓励学生和我一起发现城市的优缺点,继而询问学生们对于城市的优缺点的描述。巴黎是一个人人梦想的城市,通过一个视频短片,用优美的画面将学生们带入到这个美丽的城市,进而他们才会更有兴趣想要对这个城市了解更多的内容。从skimming,scanning 到detailed reading,利用回答问题,填空,T or F,填表等问题设置形式,再结合两次小组合作,两次Pairwork,整个教学过程由浅入深,有示范,有练习,有展示,符合学生的认知规律。但总有一些设计上的不足,比如没有给学生提供更多的语言输出机会,大部分还是教师主导,没有放手给学生思考和发现的空间。但总的来说,教学内容有一定的趣味性和科学性,符合学生的年龄特点,调动了学生的学习积极性。
三、对教学方法的反思
这节课以任务型教学法展开。在整节课中,紧扣任务,由易到难,在环节变换设置中对学生的说、读、写都进行了训练。为了达到三个知识目标,分别采用了不同方式让学生理解、运用并巩固。利用了图片,视频,PPT的呈现方式极大地调动了学生的积极性。不管怎样,各种方式符合教学规律和原则,符合学生的实际水平和可接受水平。
四、对自身素质的反思
教师首先要有过硬的专业知识素养,能够正确的把握教授内容和重难点,对于一名青年教师而言,可能相对有经验上的欠缺,往往想要兼顾的太多,而导致不够精炼,使学生抓不到重难点,虽然经过反复的推敲,但仍不能避免有偏颇之处。
语言较流畅,但自己说的多,有时候指令过长,课堂用语不简练,需以后不断提高、改进。
要更多的去关注学生,在一堂课进行过程中,总会有一些突发的状况,比如,学生看不情黑板,一时紧张回答不出来问题,而这些都需要教师去俯下身子给予学生帮助和鼓励,而不是为了上课而上课。在今后的教学中,自己要坚持不断的去关注学生,给学生展现更舒适的课堂。

本单元来自鲁教版八年级下册第3单元,其中心话题是“vacations and travel”。功能在于让学生谈论想去的地方。本节课是section A第二课时的内容(3a-3c),是一节阅读课。在第一课时听说课的基础上,围绕“Where would you like to vist?”这一话题展开听说训练,谈论想去的地方并表述原因,运用并巩固了目标语言。第二课时(3a-3c)围绕着things you like and dislike about the city而展开,3a谈论旅游城市的优缺点为3b的呈现做铺垫。3b 以巴黎这座旅游城市的优缺点为背景,呈现了更为丰富的信息和语言表达,3c为语言的综合输出,通过假设进行国外旅游,就旅游目的地,交通方式,旅游行程三个方面做出旅游计划并说出原因。
本部分的重点就是谈论假期计划和旅游地点,要求学生掌握描述假期和旅游的词汇和短语,并能够正确运用相关句型来进行详实的描述。这一课时生词较多,主要让学生在情境中去掌握。
观评记录
本次课有以下老师参与观、评课,现将发言记录如下:
周老师:整节课符合阅读课的模式,整个教学过程流畅,利用了两次小组合作,
两次pairwork, 讲练充分,基本是有效的。
郑老师:教师语言需要精炼,有时指令过长,过渡语可以再进行雕琢,对于学生
评价语是灵活并且自然到位的。比如提到“If we cannot spend the water festival in Chiang Mai like JiXiangyu, we can join YangJiasi in Yunnan.”等,体现了教师口语运用的自然之处。
王老师:教师对于学生的关注是有效并且真实的,在处理课堂中的突发情况时,比如有的学生站起来却回答不出,教师观察到可能是角度问题看不清楚黑板时,就进行了情况陈述并且让其他成员来帮助他,“Maybe you cannot see clearly,who can help him?”,整体感觉虽然这节课不是很完美,但师生之间的交流是有效并且自然真实的。
曹老师:教师将文章中描述巴黎的几个方面归纳的很全面,也让学生对文章的脉络一目了然,有利于学生对全文的把握与理解。
吴老师:教师引入环节选用了自己北京旅行时的照片,并选取了有针对性的景点和美食交通,引入真实有效。制作的巴黎图片视频极大的吸引了学生们的热情和求知欲。不足之处是生词的处理不够充分,导致学生在后面回答问题时出现了发音错误的情况,好在教师注意到,并进行了处理,比如“France”和 “French”.
颜老师:两次 group?work环节和pairwork环节是基本有效的,但是可以更加细化任务来增加小组成员的参与度,更加提高积极性。尤其是在完成3C任务时,学生讨论热烈,展示积极,目标达成度高,点赞!
