学情分析
本单元动物(animals)的话题贴近学生生活,六年级学生还处于儿童时期,对于动物比较感兴趣。本单元让他们学会用英语表达他们对于自己喜欢的动物的观点和见解。因此,采取听、说、读、写等活动让学生熟悉动物的名称并对动物的习性和所在地进行描述。“视频感知、讨论体验、实践演练、合作参与”等方式,都是学生最感兴趣的;同时创设学生喜欢的情境,应用多媒体课件,为学生提供大量的图像和声音资源,声情并茂地引导和吸引学生的注意力,最大限度地让每个学生在课堂上积极参与到教学活动中,去完成任务,实现“在做中学,在做中用”的教学目标,收到预期的教学效果。
效果分析
Lead in
导入环节中的小视频,通过观看学生熟悉的小动物,激发学生的学习兴趣,导入本单元的animal话题。
Presentation
在学习新单词环节中,教师通过领读,学生自读,指导学生读,又在此基础上又设计了一个猜词的游戏,通过任务的逐步完成,为下步的句子输入作出了铺垫和积累。
Listening
学生有了单词的输入,听力中便不难听出关键词和关键句,学生在此基础上完成课本听力任务,更是完成了本节课功能句的输入。
Pair work
本课主要练习why和because引导的句型,通过情景设置,先听对话,再跟读,最后同桌对话,反复练习了功能句型,让学生逐步掌握了功能句。
Report
最后的report环节,学生通过询问同伴自己喜欢的小动物,练习了本课的功能句,并形成report,报告自己和同伴喜欢的小动物,学为所用,学以致用。
Summary
最后的总结,回归到本节课的教学目标,学生通过读,进一步巩固了知识点,并且进一步提升了学生的情感目标。
综上所述,本节课所设计的课堂活动都是为了达成教学目标目标服务,活动目的性强,学生的参与度广,从活动效果来看,基本达成了教学目标。
课后反思
本节课很好地体现了《新课标》提出的任务型教学,;运用多媒体充分调动学生的积极性,以学生为主体,让学生在轻松、愉快的课堂中,大胆创新发挥自己的潜力,通过“视频感知、讨论体验、实践演练、合作参与”等方式,顺利完成了本节课的学习任务。多媒体课件的应用,从学生的视、听等感官着手,采用活泼色彩鲜艳的图片进行情景教学,在获取新知识的过程中以学生为主体,以学生为中心,轻松、愉快地训练学生听、说、读、写的语言技能,充分挖掘了学生的学习潜能,调动了学生的学习兴趣,使他们形成了积极的情感态度。
但有些方面还有待改进。比如,课堂提问时部分学生缺乏主动性,不积极思考回答问题。自己的课堂用语也有些单调,口语有待提高。面对低年级的孩子可以更活泼一些,利用肢体语言和模仿动物的声音将学生带进一个生动形象的动物世界,更好地激发他们的学习兴趣。
今后会充分发挥学生的主体地位,采取多种方法,将任务型教学交给学生,教师当好导演的角色。

Step 2. Presentation

Guessing game: show the pictures and guess the animals.

Step 3. Listening

本课为山东教育出版社六年级下册第七单元Why do you like pandas?第一课时听说课。语言目标是“Describe animals(谈论动物) 以及Express preference(表达喜好)”。

设计意图及说明:本图表是观察者对“教学目标达成度”进行观察所使用的量表。其中在效果一栏中,A表示效果很好;B表示效果一般;C 表示效果有难度;D表示效果不好。
结论、分析与建议:我是从7个方面对这一观察点进行观察的。根据我的观察记录,周老师在课堂上都是围绕教学目标设计的教学活动,每项教学活动都指向教学目标,环环相扣,层层递进。在教学过程中,既关注学生的语言知识的学习,也关注学生听力能力的培养,还关注对学生的情感教育,是一节高效的课例。
另外,我也有一些建议,在最后的report环节中,学生操练的时间过短,做report的小组也有些少,在这一环节的处理上,还可以再稍作调整。

本课是本单元第一课时,属于听说课。本节课的主题是动物,并通过谈论动物来熟练运用“why—because”句型提出疑问,解决问题。通过对本课的学习,学生能够对动物的性格及自己对动物的喜好的原因进行交流表达,并能够熟练运用“why—because”句型来询问他人的爱好,解释原因。通过对动物的描述,让学生从从潜意识意识到动物的重要性,让学生自觉的爱护动物,保护动物,进而激发学生对大自然的保护意识,有利于帮助学生树立环保意识,增强环保观念,成为符合科学发展观的新一代人才。
