一、设计思路
Read and write部分为四个季节的配图小短文。文本借助图片描述了四个季节的特点,机器人Robin表达了对四季的喜好之情。本部分概括了本单元的核心句型I like...because..…和部分核心词组,让学生在阅读理解中加强对本单元核心句型的运用。
【学情分析】
五年级的学生有了一定的阅读能力,学生已经对四季有一定了解,但对四季活动了解不够多,词汇量积累不够丰富,语言表达和英语写作能力也有待提高。因此,在教学设计中我采用多媒体结合教材中的图片资源,让学生更好的理解文本,为后面的联系实际谈季节、写季节做好铺垫。
二、教学目标
1.学生能听、说、认读新授单词all,fall,leaves,pink,lovely ,paint。能够听、说、读、写句型I like...best because...能做到书写规范.
2.学生能够在图片的帮助下读懂对四季的描述以及机器人对四季喜好的表达。
3.学生能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读课文。
学习策略目标:
1.学生能通过整体感知文本,回答Which season does Robin like 。通过回答Robin喜欢四季的原因,细读短文,找出答案,提高学生整理、分析问题的能力。
2.学生能有感情朗读,习得朗读策略。
3.学生能在小组合作学习中,培养沟通和交流的能力,提高合作学习能力。
三、教学重难点
学生能灵活运用重点句I like.…best because...表达自己所喜爱的季节,并陈述理由,能运用重点句表达和交流有关四季的知识。

多媒体课件、单词卡片。
五、教学步骤
Step1:Pre-reading
1.Enjoy a song about the seasons.
2.Free talk
T:We know there are four seasons in a year.What are they
Ss:They're spring,summer,autumn and winter.
T:Which season do you like best Why
Ss:I like....best because....
【设计意图】通过歌曲营造课堂学习氛围,切入学习主题,使学生快速进入学习过程。通过自由对话复习、拓展有关四季的活动,为后面的学习做好铺垫。
Step 2:While-reading
1.General reading
T:Now I know some of you like spring,some of you like summer,autumn,or winter.Which season do I like?Can you guess
【设计意图】通过让学生猜测教师喜欢哪个季节,激发学生的学习兴趣。同时也对课文的主要内容有了大致了解,为后面的学习做好铺垫。
2.Detail reading
播放视频,让学生猜测。教师在过程中板书和板贴重点单词和句型。
T:It's spring now. What can you see in spring
Play video1.Let Ss answer.
Does Robin like spring Read Picture1 and answer.
Write on the board:green trees,pink flowers,beautiful flowers everywhere.
T:Here comes summer.What's the weather like
Lead Ss to say:It's hot in summer.

Give a tip to the Ss:you should go swimming with your parents.
T:We can swim in the sea.Can Robin swim Read Picture2 and answer.

【设计意图】通过播放视频帮助学生理解文本,降低学习难度。以问题为引领,学生通过阅读课文的方式有目的的寻找主要信息,加深对文本内容的理解,培养学生良好的阅读习惯。引导学生提出问题,有利于培养学生的英语思维能力,提高学生自主学习能力。
Step 3:Post-reading
1.Listen and repeat.Watch the video and repeat.
2.Read the passage together.
【设计意图】通过听读规范学生语音语调,养良好的模仿朗读英语的习惯。培养学生关注重音、连读、按意群朗读的意识,学会有感情地朗读。教师指导学生在理解的基础上正确朗读课文,进一步激发学生的朗读兴趣。
3.Retell the passage.
借助板书和板贴内容,全班复述文本内容
4.Writing
通过小练笔等形式有效促进了学生英语综合语言运用能力的发展。全班展示前先让学生在小组内交流自己的小练笔,能让学习困难的学生在小组内通过优秀学生的帮助准确的表达和书写。同时学生的自主学习能力和合作学习能力得到提高。
5.Watch a video.通过观看视频四季之美,培养学生热爱生活、热爱祖国的美好情感,凸显德育一体化教学在课堂的落实。
Step 4:Summary
Ask students to sum up what they have learnt.
Step 5:Homework
1. Draw a picture of your favourite season;
2. Try to write a poem for your picture.
设计意图:将课堂内容延伸,培养学生创新能力和动手能力。
