Lesson 1 教案
一、教材内容分析
本课时为重庆大学版英语六年级上册Unit 1 Our Teachers部分内容。教学内容为教材第1页至第3页内容。这一课时有五个部分:1 Look, listen and say; 2 Listen and number; 3 Let’s practice; 4 Let’s play ; 5 look ,read and match.
二、学生情况分析
能正确使用Mr. / Miss. / Mrs.,对西方人的称呼有进一步了解。
三、教学目标
通过本节课的学习,学生能够达到以下目标:
1. 能够听懂、会说young, handsome, thin, pretty, old等简单的单词及短语,尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。
2. 能够运用已学功能句操练本课新学词汇,学会与别人主动打招呼交谈。
3. 能够根据语境从中young, handsome, thin, pretty, old选择恰当的词填空。
四、教学重难点
1.掌握所学新单词。
2.运用所学句型询问并能回答描述他人的外貌特征。
--What does he look like?
--He’s young and handsome.
--What does your uncle look like?
--He’s short and young.
五、教学设计:
Step 1 Warming up
1. Show a picture of some teachers.
T: Who is he/she?
Ss: He’s / She’s our maths teacher / art teacher / music teacher.
2. Learn new words by singing a song.
T: Yes, they’re your teachers. Let’s say a chant about these teachers, OK?
Ss: OK!
Tall, tall, tall. Maths teacher is tall.
Short, short, short. Art teacher is short.
Thin, thin, thin. Music teacher is thin.
Handsome, handsome, handsome. They are so handsome!
Pretty, pretty, pretty. They are so pretty!
通过这样的方式引导学生进入新课的学习,既与实际相结合学习了新单词,又大大提高了学习兴趣。
Step 2 Presentation
1. T:(多媒体呈现)Look, this is your new Chinese teacher, Mrs. X. What’s she like? Tall, short, thin or…?
Ss: She’s thin.
T: What does he look like? (手指班中任一男学生)
Ss: He’s short and strong.
2. T: Boys and girls, who’s your maths teacher?
Ss: Mr. Du.
T: What does he look like?
Ss: He’s young and handsome.
3. T:(多媒体呈现Yao Ming)Who’s this man?
Ss: He’s Mr. Yao.
T: What does he look like?
Ss: He’s tall.
T: Yes. But I think he’s strong, too.
4. Let’s practice
(1)看Let’s Practice的教学内容,浏览,了解大意和要求。
(2)两人一组,仿照图片内容进行对话练习。
--What does your art teacher look like?
--He’s short and thin
--Does he love sports?
--No, he doesn’t. But he loves music.
--Is he good at football?
--No, he isn’t. But he is good at drawing.
Step 3 Practice
完成Look, read and match部分的练习。
T: Look, there are six people. Match them according to the pictures.
Pretty, pretty, pretty.
Who is pretty?
Who is young and pretty?

2. 学生展示汇报,并及时纠正所存在的问题。
3. 小组活动。
T: (把全班分成6~8小组,每组分发两组单词卡片。一组为各科目教师,如math teacher, music teacher等,另一组为描述人物外形的词组,如thin and tall, strong and short等。活动时一人抽取两张卡片并提出问题,另一人根据卡片内容进行问答。)
Step 4 Homework
1.课后设计一些有关教师或亲友的词组卡片,用所学句型、单词做句子整合游戏。
2.完成一小调查,调查学科老师的相关信息。
