【教学过程】
一、Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings. (师生间简单地打招呼。)
2. Ask and answer.
教师拿出一些动物图片卡，并问学生“What’s this ”引导学生回答“It’s a/ an…”不会用英语表达的老师说答案。21cnjy.com
3. Warming up.
教师出示第2页幻灯片，Let’s chant。唱一唱这首歌，引出句型What’s this？It’s…
二、Presentation
1. Let’s guess and read.
(1)出示幻灯片3--7页，播放图片猜动物，学习新单词cat, dog, duck, pig, bear.
(2)再次播放幻灯片，学生模仿发音学习单词。
2. Let’s learn
(1)教师出示词汇卡片，学生认读，复习巩固本课单词。
(2)出示幻灯片第8页听句子及词汇。
(3)教师请一个学生配合，以教师指学生答的方式复习巩固句型It’s …
(4)呈现对话内容，整体跟读录音，模仿语音语调。
(5)板书：cat, dog, duck, pig, bear.
2. Let’s say.
(1)出示幻灯片第9页，看图片说句子It’s…
(2)再做一次该练习，老师纠正错误发音。
3. What’s missing
(1)教师出示幻灯片第10页，观察图片，并讨论图画，认识这几种动物并记忆所在位置。
(2)开始游戏，掩盖一个图片问What’s missing 小组抢答，游戏结束看哪组答得多。
4. Let’s talk
(1)Watch and answer. 看手影猜动物，What can you see 出示课文中是插图问What’s this 猜一猜影子是什，带着问题来学习课文。21世纪教育网版权所有
(2)听课文并阅读，我们可以知道影子是Zoom.
(3)讲解文本，突破重难点：
①What’s this 用来询问近处的事物。What’s 是what和is的缩写形式，this指近处事物。其答语通常为：It’s a/ an +名词。2·1·c·n·j·y
注意：答语中不再使用this来指代事物，而是用it。
② 在英语中，表示“一（个/件……）”的不定冠词有两个，它们分别是a和an.
a用在读音以辅音音素开头的单词前，
如： a book 一本书 a pencil 一支铅笔
an用在在读音以元音音素开头的单词前，
如： an apple 一个苹果
(4) Listen and imitate (听音模仿). 听录音，跟读。模仿语音语调。
(5)教师板书：--What’s this --It’s a/ an…
(6) Role play. 出示第16页幻灯片，两人小组练习对话，并表演。
5. Let’s play.
对Let’s play部分的操练： 按照课本中所呈现的方式，请学生们来扮演这些小动物，模仿它们的动作及声音。21教育网

唱儿歌，模仿发音，尤其每句中蓝色字体在单词中的发音。
三、Practice
1. Pair work
三人一组做“滚雪球”游戏。复习句型It’s a/ an...
2. 完成幻灯片中相应的课堂练习。

根据板书复述今天学习的内容。
五、 Homework
1. 读一读本课单词和课文.
