《Unit 4 What can you do Part A 》教案
【教学目标】
1. 知识与技能
(1)学生能在情景中运用句型“What can you do for the party ”,“I can …”询问并回答某人能做什么事情。
(2)学生能听、说、读、写有关课余文化活动的单词和短语:dance, sing English songs, do kung fu, play the pipa, draw cartoons。
(3)学生能了解字母oo组合在单词中的两种发音(/u:/,/ u/)规律并拼读符合规律的单词。
2. 过程与方法
在活动中教学,让学生在做中学,学中玩。
3. 情感态度和价值观
学生通过学习能了解世界各国不同的风土人情,发展跨文化交际意识。
【教学重点】
1. 学生能够表演Let’s talk,能够在情景中运用句型“What can you do for the party ”、“I can …”询问并回答某人能做什么事情。
2. 四会单词和短语dance, sing English songs, do kung fu, play the pipa, draw cartoons。
【教学难点】
1. 能运用句型“What can you do for the party ”、“I can …”询问并回答某人能做什么事情,完成调查表。
【教学方法】
任务型教学法、情景教学法、交际法。

【教学过程】
一、Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings. (师生间简单地打招呼。)
2. Let’s sing. 教师放歌曲 “What can you do ” 师生一起演唱。让学生在听英语歌曲中感知本课时的重点句型和核心词汇。
3. Free talk.
教师结合本单元的话题“能力”询问学生“What can you do ”,学生根据实际的情况回答,中英文都可以。如:打篮球、洗衣服、打乒乓球等。
二、Presentation
1 Let’s try.
(1) 出示Let’s try部分图片,询问学生“What can you see in the picture ” “Who is he ”
学生看图后回答问题。
(2) 教师提问“What can Mike do ”, 学生猜测 He can …
(3) 出示听力题干,播放录音,学生听录音后完成:Listen and tick.
(4) 出示听力文本,提取答题的关键信息,并齐读文本。
2. Let’s talk.
(1)出示课文插图,询问学生“What can you see in the picture ”“Who are they ”
学生看图后回答问题。
(2)教师提问:What will the children have next Tuesday 学生猜测。教师播放动画。
学生看动画后回答问题:They will have an English party.
(3)教师提出问题:Q1: What can Zhang Peng do for the party Q2: What can Zhang Peng do for the party 后再次播放动画。
学生看动画后回答问题:Zhang Peng can sing English songs. John can do some kung fu.
(4)解读文本,突破重难点。如:板书并讲解核心句型 “What can you do for the party ”和“I can …”的用法。How about you 的用法。
(5)听录音,跟读。模仿语音语调。
(6)齐读文章。
(7)Role play角色扮演,三人小组练习对话。并根据情况上来汇报。
三、Practice
1. Let’s learn
(1)呈现Let’s learn部分的插图:教师提问:Who are they 引导学生观察图片并回答。
(2)教师出示图片,提问What can Sarah do 学生根据图片回答(中英文都可以)。
教师结合图片、录音教学单词dance,学生one by one操练。
(3)教师出示图片,通过唱歌的方法教学:sing English songs,学生pair work操练。
(4)教师出示图片,通过做动作、的方法教学:do kung fu,学生line by line操练。
(5)教师继续提问学生:What can Mike do Listen and answer.
教师播放录音,学生听音后回答。教师板书draw cartoons,结合图片,录音教学单词。全班齐读draw cartoons。
(6)教师出示图片,提问What can Chen Jie do 学生根据图片回答(中英文都可以),
教师结合图片、录音教学play the pipa,学生分男、女生操练。教师可以介绍一些中西方乐器。
(7)呈现对话内容,整体跟读录音,模仿语音语调。
2. Do a survey(What can you do )
(1)出示调查表,学生朗读表格内容。
(2)教师引导学生说说其他的活动名称,如:play chess,clean the classroom。
教师根据学生的回答板书在调查表的下面,以便调查时使用。
(3)教师呈现人物对话。师生分角色朗读对话后,教师示范如何调查他人的能力,并在对应的方格内打钩。
(4)Group work 学生四人小组进行调查,并完成调查表。最后上台汇报。
3. Let’s spell
(1)出示图片,学生描述图片信息。
(2)播放录音,整体感知字母组合oo在单词中的发音。
(3)结合图片和录音,引导学生学习和总结字母组合oo的两种常见的读音。
(4)开火车,结合发音规律,分类单词。
(5)Listen, circle and say.
教师先出示单词,学生尝试朗读。然后教师播放录音,学生听录音圈单词。最后师生核对答案。
(6)Look, listen and write.
教师先出示图片,学生猜测填写内容。然后教师播放录音,学生听录音填写单词。最后师生核对答案,齐读句子。
4. 完成相应的课堂练习。
四、Summary
根据板书复述今天学习的内容。
五、Homework
