读后续写一般以记叙文为主。记叙文是以记人、叙事、写景、状物为主，以人物的经历和事物发展变化为主要内容的一种文体形式。 要写好续写部分，读文审题、理解文本是第一步。对于原文阅读，应完成以下四个方面的阅读任务：
一、关注五个“W”，思考一个“H”
为了使续写部分和所给材料共同构成一篇逻辑连贯、情节完整的短文，必须在文本大意和写作意图的统领下分析所给文本的情境模式，即5W1H（Who、When、Where、What、Why和How）。梳理所给短文的主要内容，即人物、时间、地点、事件、原因（5W），为续写部分的情节构思（1H）提供依据与方向，然后准确思考出事件的结果。
二、寻找故事“明线”，探索故事“暗线”
一个完整的故事通常有一条或多条线索，包含时间、空间、人、物、情感、事件等。续写故事中，较为常见的是事件线索（情节线）和情感线索（情感线），也就是文章中的明线与暗线。
明线是故事的直观呈现，承载着情节发展与人物关系的变化。续写时，需紧扣原文的场景、人物关系等明线元素，使新情节与原文无缝衔接。
暗线则潜藏于文字之下，是故事发展的深层逻辑。它通过暗示、伏笔等方式，揭示人物内心冲突与故事发展方向。挖掘暗线有助于精准把握人物矛盾根源，明确故事走向。
唯有将明线的情节推进与暗线的情感脉络相结合，在续写时既承接原文的直观叙事，又深挖背后的情感逻辑，才能确保故事方向正确，让续写内容既自然流畅，又富有深度。
三、把握文章主旨，推测故事方向
文章主旨是故事发展的核心指引，精准把握主旨能为续写锚定方向。紧扣文章主旨续写，既能使故事情节合理推进，又能确保续写内容与原文逻辑连贯、一脉相承，实现对原文关键信息的有效呼应与升华。
四、解读人物特点，领悟语言风格
在续写故事时，语言风格的统一与人物形象的连贯至关重要。语言层面的微技能，如动作、场景、心理、语言等细节描写，以及修辞手法的运用，都是塑造鲜活人物形象的关键。我们需深入剖析原文的语言表达特点，精准把握人物性格与情感特质，从而在续写中延续其行文风格，确保人物形象与原文一脉相承，实现故事的自然衔接与流畅发展。
