1.意外发现昏迷的邻居
Something didn’t feel right (感觉有些事情不对劲儿).“Why would anyone leave their kids unattended on the shore?”Mary thought.She grabbed the kids’ hands and walked them to their home, across from her own house.As Mary opened the door, she found the young mother lying unconscious on the kitchen floor (发现年轻的母亲毫无意识地躺在厨房地板上).

2.家中失火,亲人被困
The flames were leaping and dancing wildly (火焰疯狂地跳跃、舞动着),rapidly consuming everything in their path (吞噬着所到之处的一切).Thick black smoke blocked the sunlight and darkened the surroundings (滚滚浓烟遮蔽了阳光,让周遭的一切都陷入了昏暗之中),making the situation extremely critical.We jumped out of the car and started running to the father and I screamed at the top of my voice (扯着嗓子大喊),“Anna is in the house!”

(二)助人过程
1.寻找家人
Tenderly, I picked the girl up, carrying her through the crowd as I patiently kept asking her to recall (我抱着那个女孩穿过人群,耐心地反复让她回忆) where her parents had been.I carried her to the fence, constantly asking the passers-by (不断询问路人),“Is this your child?” Though numerous passers-by said no, I didn’t give up.
情节走向:我抱着女孩穿过人群,让其回忆父母之前的位置→不断询问路人→询问无果仍不放弃
2.求助老师化解矛盾
Depressed and hopeless, Sarah ran across the hall to seek help (跑过大厅寻求帮助) from their teacher Katie.After knowing what had happened to Sarah, Katie felt sorry.She went to Sarah’s dormitory and had a long conversation with (与……进行了长时间的交谈) Sarah and Lily.Katie shared her experience in getting on well with her roommate.
情节走向:Sarah感到沮丧和绝望,找Katie 老师求助→了解Sarah的遭遇后,Katie感到很难过→Katie去Sarah的宿舍→与Sarah和Lily谈心

1.Through the experience, I learned that helping others in need makes our day as well.Just as the saying goes,“Roses given, fragrance in hand (赠人玫瑰,手有余香).”
2.After the rescue, it dawned on all that we should always attach great importance to potential safety risks (高度重视潜在的安全隐患) and take measures in advance (提前采取措施).
