However， as I began classes at the ripe old age of thirty-four， I
discovered that I was indeed smart enough and I could perform excellently.I had
something to prove.I needed to know that I was an intelligent， capable
individual.
I loved learning.I also wanted to contribute in a bigger way， not only to
my family but also to the community beyond.I wanted to teach.I wanted to
continue and reach that goal.And I realized that I wanted to prove my father
wrong.
