1.对活动过程的介绍不够具体或违背事实
有些学生在写作时，思维往往聚焦于词汇或句式的表达，忽略了写作内容与真实生活的密切联系，违背了写作的初衷。如：
In the activity，we were exposed to thousands of plants， some of which we were unfamiliar with ...
结合标题可知，thousands of表述不切实际，应改为 varieties of。
事实上，“认识我们身边的植物”这一活动应该是组织有序、有目的、有意义的教育教学活动。学生应该从科学的角度去描述这次活动。如：
In the morning， an expert delivered a lecture， introducing ...After that， we ...The highlight of this activity was ...， which ...
2.结尾随意性强
很多学生在写活动介绍类作文时，往往对结尾部分关注不够，出现草草收尾的现象。其实，结尾部分语言虽然需要简短，但一定要对全文进行总结，并凸显此次活动的意义。如：
本文结尾可使用...a valuable and rewarding experience来总结这项活动，用...think/speak highly of ...来说明参加者对这次活动的高度评价。

Getting to Know the Plants Around Us
Last weekend， I took part in an event held by the Students’ Union， which is aimed at educating us more about daily biology.
Initially， I attended a lecture on the flower project. The lecturer asked us to write a review on it. Since tulips are my favourite plant， I did well and got praised. Additionally， I visited the desert exhibition. Learning much from it， I came to understand why cactuses and other dry plants have sharp leaves.Ultimately， I was introduced to a brochure about trees we usually see in life， which benefited me a lot.
Undoubtedly， I gained numerous knowledge on plants and have become interested in them through this meaningful activity.
