本节课我基本上能够结合所教学生的实际，在以话题为主线索的新课标理念指导下，注重语言的实际综合运用，以课本为蓝本，通过加入各种贴近生活的信息，紧跟时事热点话题
课堂上我已问题为线索，以学生为中心，尽量让学生开口说英语。在讲到first aid的诱发因素时，我先列举了我自己在云南旅游时被紫外线灼伤的例子，接着提问“有谁也有过被烫伤烧伤的经历？”班上三个同学都举手了。其中彭悦同学讲了自己小时候坐摩托车，被蒸汽烫伤的例子，非常有感染力。
为了让学生更形象的掌握急救方法，我准备了一个小熊做道具。现场演示了如何给烫伤烧伤的人进行紧急处理。课堂效果非常好。
在最后一个环节，对话表演中，学生们通过小组互动，合作意识加强了，学生由“被动”地学转变为“主动”地学，学生的口语能力得到了锻炼。
