学情分析
本人所任教班级共有40人，女生21人，男生19人。英语学习兴趣女生较高，男生不太积极。经过上学期的英语基础的教学，大部分学生有了相应的学习方法。但是还不够成熟。极个别的学生已经出现了掉队的现象。
九年级的学生有了一定的知识积累，对老师的讲课风格已非常熟悉，能够在老师的指导下，独立完成一些课堂的学习任务。
九年级的学生的心理已经比较成熟，能够静下心来学习的同学越来越多，但由于性格等因素的影响，也各不同。性格外向的同学，比较爱表达，对于知识的理解和吸收都比较快一些；内向的同学，比较沉默，不善于学习和总结，学起来就会比较困难，特别是阅读文章。对于不同的学生应采取不同的教学策略，因材施教。
效果分析
本节课立足课本，在此基础上加强课外阅读。阅读教学在复习、巩固旧词，学习新词汇、扩大词汇量，激发学生学习兴趣，培养学生分析判断能力．提高学生人文素养等方面。对学生已有的阅读水平有针对性地组织阅读教学，从而提高学生的英语阅读能力，培养学生良好的英语阅读习惯。同时从听、说、读、写各方面人手，全面提高学生英语阅读能力。让学生充分认识到了英语阅读的重要性，并积极加强研究和实践。英语阅读能力的提高不是单方面的，听、说、读、写各方面的全面提高才是学习英语的金科玉律
要提高英语阅读能力．重点在于提高学生英语阅读的效率。但在英语阅读教学中存在许多低效现象。具体如下：
(1)学生英语阅读量明显不足。他们很少阅读英文原版书籍，偶尔翻翻英文报纸。他们的英语阅读主要是用来对付考试了。
(2)教师在上阅读课时也没有正确认识阅读。并没有把它看作是帮助学生获取信息、拓展视野，提高分析、思考、判断及综合语言运用能力的途径。许多英语阅读教学课只是注重对词义、句子、语法结构的教学。阅读与生活背景相剥离，成了纯粹的技巧训练，学生从中学会的是选择ABCD或判断T和F． 或是回答文章相关问题．通过这种反复多次的机械训练，学生没有真正享受阅读的快乐，逐步失去阅读的兴趣，阅读能力也没有得到真正的锻炼。
当然，教学既有法，又无定法。在中学英语阅读教学的大环境下，平时的英语阅读教学只有根据实际情况，灵活运用各种教学方法，才能获得最佳的效果。
课后反思
本课时未为阅读课文，和考试中的阅读理解相匹配。因此教学方向和考试一致。应让学生学会阅读掌握技巧并培养学生的阅读能力。设计了任务型教学法。学生课堂表现较好，但是阅读难度大的学生还是吃力。今后的教学还应该更细致化。

（一）教材分析
本单元话题是谈论music and movies,?主要的语法项目是定语从句。本单元要求学生学会使用定语从句表达自己对音乐和电影的喜好。通过Section A的学习，学生应掌握一些与音乐和电影相关的词汇，能够通过听读获取有关音乐和电影的相关信息，了解以that, which, who引导的定语从句在不同语境中的功能和作用，并能模仿和表达自己喜欢的音乐的电影。
3a-3c的阅读板块提供了一篇关于电影喜欢的文章。3a要求学生从文中找出不同的电影类型和提及的电影名称；3b主要引导学生关注文中的细节；3c则是让学生根据短文信息，结合自己的实际回答问题，填写表格，为B部分的学习做好铺垫。
