限制性定语从句(2)
  Calligraphy, a traditional art form in China, has its unique
charm.It was in ancient times when① people used writing as a means of

少状语,常用where引导。

句①②③都是“ ”引导的定语从句,句④是
“ ”引导的定语从句。
介词+关系代词 
名词+of+关系代词 
【善归纳】
①当关系代词在定语从句中作介词的宾语时,如果指“人”,用“介
词+whom”;如果指“物”,用“介词+which”;关系代词有时也
用whose(作定语)。
②“介词+关系代词”中介词选择的三个原则“一先、二动、三意
义”。
“一先”,即根据先行词的习惯搭配或意义来确定介词。
“二动”,即根据定语从句中的谓语部分的习惯搭配来确定介词。
“三意义”,即根据定语从句所表达的意义来确定介词,如表示“整
体与部分”的关系,用介词of。根据需要可以使用“名词、数词或代
词+of+关系代词”结构。
【注意事项】
①在定语从句中,有一些含介词的动词短语不可拆开使用,如look
after, look for等不能把介词移至which或whom之前。
②在“介词+whom”结构中,whom不可以用who/that来代替。
