remain是系动词,意为“仍然,依旧,留;保持不变;剩余”,
后面可接名词、代词、形容词、介词短语、分词作表语。

remain 强调“继续停留于一处或保持原状态,而情况性质不改变”,remain 常可与 stay 互换。
