1. 肯定结构：A + be动词/实义动词 + as + 形容词/副词原级 + as + B
这个结构用于说明A和B在某一方面程度相同。
（1）比较形容词（作表语或定语）
主语 + be动词 + as + 形容词 + as + 比较对象
Tom is as tall as Mike. （汤姆和迈克一样高。）
This book is as interesting as that one. （这本书和那本书一样有趣。）
（2）比较副词（修饰动词）
主语 + 实义动词 + as + 副词 + as + 比较对象
She runs as fast as her brother. （她跑得和她哥哥一样快。）

（3）比较名词（表示数量相同）
as many + 可数名词复数 + as （和……一样多）

as much + 不可数名词 + as （和……一样多）

as + 形容词 + a/an + 单数可数名词 + as （和……一样的……）

2. 否定结构：A + be动词/实义动词 + not as/so + 形容词/副词原级 + as + B
这个结构用于说明A在某一方面不如B。
Tom is not as/so tall as Mike. （汤姆不如迈克高。）

注意： 在否定句中，as...as... 和 so...as... 可以互换，但 so...as... 更常见于否定句，且语气稍强。在现代英语中，not as...as... 的使用更为普遍。
三、as...as...结构的修饰语
为了表达程度上的细微差别，可以在第一个 as 前加上表示程度的副词。
1. 表示“几乎一样”：
almost, nearly, practically

2. 表示“正好/恰好一样”：
just, exactly

四、as...as...结构中的省略
为了使语言简洁，在上下文意思明确的情况下，as...as... 结构中的某些部分可以省略。
1. 省略整个as从句
A: Is this dictionary useful （这本字典有用吗？）
B: Yes, it's as useful. （是的，一样有用。）→ 省略了“as that one”
2. 省略从句中的谓语
The work is not as easy as you imagine (it to be). （这工作不像你想象的那么容易。）
3. 省略从句的主语和谓语
You seem as busy as (you were) before. （你看起来和以前一样忙。）
注意： 省略必须以确保句子意思清晰为前提。
五、特殊句型与固定搭配
1. as soon as （一……就……）
引导时间状语从句，表示主句动作紧接从句动作发生。
I'll call you as soon as I arrive. （我一到就给你打电话。）
2. as long as （只要……）
引导条件状语从句，表示主句动作发生的条件。
You can succeed as long as you work hard. （只要你努力，就能成功。）
3. as far as （就……而言；远至……）
表示程度或范围。
As far as I know, he is honest. （据我所知，他很诚实。）
We walked as far as the river. （我们一直走到河边。）
4. as well as （和……一样好；既……又……）
表示比较时，意为“和……一样好”。

5. as...as possible （尽可能……地）

1、难点1：混淆as...as...与比较级
as...as... 用于同级比较（一样）。
比较级 + than 用于不同级比较（更……）。

2、难点2：as...as...中间必须用形容词或副词的原级

4、难点4：否定句中as与so的混淆
肯定句中只能用 as...as...。
否定句中既可用 not as...as...，也可用 not so...as...，后者语气稍强，但前者更常用。
He is not as/so tall as his brother.
5、难点5：修饰语位置错误
表示程度的词（almost, twice等）必须放在第一个as之前。
This rope is as twice long as that one.
This rope is twice as long as that one.
6、难点6：as...as...结构与“和……一样”的翻译陷阱
中文说“和……一样”，但英文结构是 as...as...，两个as都不能少。
This car is expensive as that one.

七、与比较级句型的联系与转换
1. 否定式 as...as... 与比较级的转换
not as/so...as... 结构常可以转换为 less...than... 结构，但前者更常用。
This movie is not as interesting as that one.
= This movie is less interesting than that one.
2. 倍数表达的统一性
倍数表达在比较级和同级比较中结构不同，但意义可转换。
