Unit 5 Traveling Abroad(Book7)教学设计
教材分析
本课是高二选修7第⑤模块里的一篇阅读课(Reading),出自人民教育出版社和课程教材研究所的书。在第一部分:warming-up和pre-reading里面初步接触和学习了国外旅游的知识和基础词汇,本节Reading是上部分的延伸。Reading讲了中国留学生谢蕾在伦敦生活学习情况,她如何客服困难,适应国外的生活和学习,并且通过参加俱乐部交朋友……这些都说明了主人公的坚强、独立和有决心的优秀性格,也很值得我们的学生学习和借鉴。

教学目标     
1)词汇目标:
lecture,recommend,preparation,comfort,academic,requirement,acknowledge,occupy,contradict,substitute,keep it up,fit in,get/be used to,as far as one is concerned,be occupied with
2)技能目标:
学会表达和支持个人观点,能用所学的有关travelling abroad的词汇描述在国外居住生活或者学习的情况
3)情感态度与文化意识目标:
(1)帮助学生树立国际意识,培养学生的跨文化交际能力。
(2)培养学生坚强的意志,坚定克服困难、迎接挑战的决心。
(3)在小组合作互动中,增强学生的团队合作与分享意识。
教学重点和难点
1.理解有关出国学习的知识,找出段落和文章的从属关系。
2.培养阅读时的联想、理解、前后联系的能力和逻辑分析能力。
3.阅读的同时也培养学生运用所学的词汇进行语言交际的能力。
     
4. 使学生了解在国外旅行或学习时可能会遇到的一些问题,并学会怎样去解决问题和避免这样问题的发生。
学情分析
当前随着经济的发展的文化的交流, 各国经济和文化等各方面的交流比较常见,出国旅游和学习已经是常见的事情,学生比较了解,身边甚至有出国学习的学生和在本班的留学生。比如我所在级部就有韩国学生。课本内容接近学生生活,对学生有教育和学习意义,容易激发学生的学习热情,易于展开阅读和讨论。

逐层导入部分:
展示世界著名风景区图片,引起学生思考,通过提问学生,引出本单元话题——Traveling Abroad
通过小组讨论下面问题:
Imagination: (group discussion小组讨论) If you were offered a chance to study abroad for a year, where would you like to go? 引出课文话题——studying abroad
3.通过展示世界知名大学图片引出下面问题:

效果分析
通过下节课的词汇检查,课文细节检查,觉得这节课的效果还是不错的。再就是对于课外延伸的作文话题,学生写的还是不错的,说明学生对阅读课的话题也理解的不错。总体自己对课堂效果比较满意。
观课记录
通过我对自己的课堂观察及和听课同事交流,我觉得:
学生学习的积极性比较高,对话题也非常感兴趣。
课堂上学生的学习效果从对问题的回答就可以看出是不错的。
但是学生的阅读速度和对细节的理解还有很长的路走。我个人觉得是因为词汇的记忆不熟是速度慢的主要原因,以后的学习中对词汇还要多下功夫。还有多读文章,多做阅读理解题目。
再就是后进生的学习积极性有待提高,这不是一日之功,在平时要多给他们鼓励和关爱。

???? 学生踊跃参与,最关键的是教师要充分尊重学生的人格,充分发挥教学民主,为此,教师要妥善引导,要尽最大的努力最大限度地引导学生参与到探索知识的过程中去。

?????在阅读时教师可指导学生根据不同题材、体裁的阅读材料采取不同的归纳形式去归纳材料内容,快速、准确地猎取文章信息,培养学生良好的阅读习惯。由于阅读材料题材与体裁的不同,因而在阅读中还可以从不同角度用各种不同的归纳方式去归纳、理解材料内容,如可以归纳动词,显示事件过程;归纳文章人物,突出重点人物等等,从而在阅读实践中不断提高自己的阅读理解能力。
三、增加语言实践量,延伸英语阅读空间
??????高中每单元一篇阅读课文所选的文章都是好文章,他们内容丰富,涉及面广,课文中所反映的中外文化习俗、世界名人传记,体育竞技比赛、饮食卫生习惯等等都唤起高中生的注意和兴趣。但是,从培养阅读能力的角度来看,仅限于课文的阅读教学是远远不够的。? 每周选择三到五篇难易适中、兼顾知识性和趣味性的读物,打印出来发给学生课后阅读,并要求他们做相应的阅读理解题。
?四、英语阅读教学应渗透人格教育
?? ?培养具有健全人格的人是当前素质教育的目标之一。因此,教师要努力挖掘教材中的思想教育因素,以知识为载体,适时适度地渗透思想品德以及爱国主义教育。
